The Audi E7X is manufactured by SAIC Volkswagen, which is SAIC Motor and Volkswagen (Audi), for the Chinese market. It is built on SAIC’s EV technology and is all set to make its debut at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show.
It will be launched in China with two battery options, expected to give a range of hundreds of kilometres to make the long journey convenient, and with two drivetrains, which are rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.

Audi E7X Price
SAIC Volkswagen has not officially released any details regarding the driving specifications of the Audi A7; however, it is expected that its starting price will be 165,000 yuan.
Since this electric car is set to launch in the Chinese market in multiple variants, it is anticipated that the price of the higher-end variants could be approximately 200,000 Yuan.
Audi E7X Performance & Power
The Audi E7X is set to launch with options for both a single-motor rear-wheel-drive configuration and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive configuration, generating power outputs of 300 kW (402 hp) and 500 kW (670 hp), respectively.
With a single motor, it generates a torque of 500 Nm, while with a dual-motor setup, it produces approximately 89 Nm of torque. Speaking of its acceleration, the all-wheel-drive configuration takes 3.97 seconds to reach a speed of 0 to 100 km/h, and its top speed stands at 230 km/h.
The top speed and acceleration timing for the rear-wheel drive (i.e., single-motor configuration) variant have not yet been disclosed; however, it is expected to take approximately 6 to 7 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h, and its top speed is likely to be around 180 km/h.
Audi E7X Battery, Range & Charging
The Audi E7X is set to launch in the Chinese market with two battery options: 100 kWh and 109.3 kWh. Details regarding the range on full charge are listed below.
- The 100 kW battery is expected to offer a range of approximately 615 to 705 kilometres, depending on the driving mode; the maximum range will be achieved during highway driving.
- The 109.3 kW battery has a minimum range of 660 kilometres and a maximum of 771 kilometres; the actual range you experience will depend on your driving style.
Both of these battery options feature NMC (ternary lithium) chemistry and support high-voltage (900V) fast charging. With its maximum charging capacity, it takes 30 to 40 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%.

The Audi E7X features a roof-mounted LiDAR system, which is an advanced driving assistant powered by Momenta’s Flywheel AI model. It supports both Highway NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) and Urban NOA, a city driving assistant.
It showcases a unique lighting signature, incorporating a “Ring Light Surface” design, million-pixel DLP headlights, and an illuminated logo featuring LED dot patterns.
