Pre-sales for the 2026 BYD Denza D9 are set to begin in China on March 29, 2026. This multi-purpose vehicle is an updated version of its outgoing model and has been introduced to the Chinese market with both BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) and PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) powertrain options.

2026 BYD Denza D9 Specifications 

The BEV model of the 2026 BYD Denza D9 comes equipped with a 103 kWh Blade (LFP) battery and is available with both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options, generating 340 kW and 410 kW of power, respectively, and providing a range of 750 km and 800 km.

Its PHEV model is equipped with a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine, paired not with one, but two electric motors. The engine generates 115 kW of power, while the front motor produces 200 kW and the rear motor 45 kW. It boasts a pure-electric CLTC range of 400 km and consumes 6.35 litres of fuel per 100 km of driving.

The 2026 model of the BYD Denza D9 is equipped with a 2.0 blade battery, which can charge it from 10 to 70 per cent in just 5 minutes and from 10 to 97 per cent in just 9 minutes. In extreme cold conditions, such as -20 to -30 degrees Celsius, charging time from 10 to 97 per cent is only 12 to 15 minutes.
