Chery QQ3 EV Launched: Compact Electric SUV Price Starts From ₹7.7 Lakh Only

Chery has launched a new all-electric car, the QQ3 EV, for the Chinese market on March 30, 2026. It has four variants and is priced between 58,900 and 78,900 Chinese yuan. Autohome reports that it completed 56,879 orders immediately after launch, underlining how popular the car is.

The four variants of the Chery QQ3 EV launched in the Chinese market are the 310 km Love Edition, 310 km Share Edition, 420 km Love Edition, and 420 km Share Edition, priced in Chinese Yuan at 58,900, 67,900, 68,900, and 78,900, respectively; the price in Indian Rupees is between 7.7 and 11 lakh.

The launch of the electric vehicle in the Chinese market is set to pose stiff competition to the Geely EX2 and BYD Seagull. Stay tuned to check its dimensions and exterior, interior and features and powertrain and performance for the Chery QQ3 EV.

Dimensions & Exterior

The Chery QQ3 EV falls within the compact hatchback segment of the Chinese market. Although it is a small electric car, it boasts a longer wheelbase than its competitor, the Leapmotor T03.

In terms of dimensions, its length, width, height, and wheelbase measure 4,195 mm, 1,811 mm, 1,573 mm, and 2,700 mm, respectively. A wheelbase of 2,700 mm is impressive for a compact electric car.

When evaluating this wheelbase in relation to the vehicle’s price point, it proves to be an ideal feature. Furthermore, given the car’s top speed, it is capable of providing enhanced stability; and it offers ample legroom for rear-seat passengers.

It is offered with 6 colour options with personalised roof finishes so you can choose the colour to match their aesthetic. Semi-hidden door handles lend it a very clean profile, while the black wheel arch cladding gives it a slightly rugged look.

Its exterior adheres to the “square within a circle” design philosophy, which gives it a modern and slightly playful design. The integrated Q-shaped LED headlights make its appearance even more eye-catching.

Interior & Features

The interior is quite high-tech and feature-rich; it comes with a double-tone interior theme. For infotainment, it has a 15.6-inch 2.5K touchscreen and a fully digital instrument cluster powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip.

The inclusion of the AI-based Carmind intelligent assistant and the “See-and-speak” voice interaction system gives it the distinct feel of a truly futuristic cockpit.

In terms of connectivity, it supports all three platforms, which are Apple CarPlay, Huawei HiCar, and CarLink, and features 50-watt wireless phone charging.

For the comfort and convenience of the occupants, the front seats come equipped with both heating and ventilation features. Additionally, there is an armrest for rear passengers, as well as a rear AC vent.

It features a seating layout designed for five people, allowing five adults to sit very comfortably. Although it is a compact vehicle, it offers excellent legroom, as well as ample shoulder and headroom.

It provides a boot space of 375 litres; if you fold down the rear seats, the available cargo space expands to 1450 litres. Furthermore, it features three storage compartments in the front cabin, making it incredibly convenient to carry small items.

According to the report, the Falcon 500 is also available here with an intelligent driving assistance option, powered by the Horizon J6E chip, which offers a computing power of up to 80 TOPS (trillion operations per second).

Powertrain & Performance

The Chery QQ3 EV is equipped with a single motor, which is mounted on the rear wheels, meaning it features a RWD configuration. As for its transmission, it is a single-speed automatic system that delivers a smooth and noise-free driving experience.

The motor is available in two power options: the first generates 78 hp of power and 90 Nm of torque, while the second produces 121 hp of power and 115 Nm of torque. The first one is ideal for those seeking an EV primarily for city driving, whereas the second one is suited for those who enjoy highway cruising.

It comes with two battery packs of 29.48 kWh and 41.28 kWh lithium iron phosphate; the former has a CLTEC range of 310 km and the latter 420 km. Both support fast charging; the charging time is just 16.5 minutes.

The vehicle’s top speed is 125 km/h. While the acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is not currently available in the public domain, with the standard motor, it is expected to take 12 to 13 seconds, while the high-power variant will take 10 to 11 seconds.
