Geely has unveiled a special edition of Zeekr 001 in China on its fifth anniversary. Its launch for the Chinese market is scheduled for 10 April 2026, which will reveal its price. The price may be around 300,000 Chinese yuan, which translates to 40 lakh in Indian rupees.
The front suspension is double-wishbone independent suspension, and the rear is a multi-link, which improves stability and smooth ride comfort, respectively. The front and rear brakes are ventilated discs that prevent brake fade during hard braking.
Exterior & Design
It features sleek Matrix LED headlights that give it better visibility and a sharp futuristic look and has a low and wide stance which reflects its sportscar-like aggressive posture. It gets a smooth, closed EV grille that improves efficiency, and aerodynamic sculpting reduces drag and ensures high-speed stability.
On the sides, a shooting brake silhouette is available that gives a practical shape; it has frameless doors which give a premium coupe-like feel. It runs on 22-inch forged wheels which improve its handling, and a black contrast roof reflects sporty contrast, and flush door handles give it a clean look.
At the rear, it gets a full-width LED taillight bar, giving it a bold and premium identity. It has an FR-Line carbon fibre rear spoiler which enhances downforce and gives sporty appeal. Its wide and muscular rear stance results in improved presence and stability. Overall it is sporty, wide, and performance-inspired.
Interior & Features
The cabin is built up of premium material, ensuring a luxurious and sporty feel. Its seats are electronically adjustable with ventilation and massage features. It gets an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.7-inch head-up display, and a 15.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
It features a multi-speaker audio system and subwoofer for deep bass and an intelligent voice assistant that can play music, show navigation and change the interior’s climate over voice control. It has multi-coloured ambient lights with adjustable brightness and colours to give the premium feel.
The ADAS features come with LiDAR at the front and get multiple airbags and multiple cameras. It also gets Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Monitoring, a 360° camera & sensors, automatic emergency braking, ISOFIX child seat mounts and much more.
Powertrain & Performance
It gets two electric motors, which are mounted on the front and rear axles and result in giving better grip and control. Its maximum power output is 680 kW, which is equivalent to 912 hp, like a supercar-level performance.
It features a double-motor all-wheel drive drivetrain and features a single-speed automatic. The available battery pack is a 103 kWh lithium-ion NMC, whose CLTC range is 680 km, but real-world range is around 550 km, depending on driving dynamics.
Its acceleration timing for 0-100 km/h is only 2.9 seconds, which is as quick as supercars; the top speed is 280 km/h, making its performance the best among the rivals. With a DC charger, it charges 10-80% in just 10 minutes, as based on 900-volt electrical architecture.
Space & Dimensions
It comes with a seating layout of 5 people with a configuration of 2-3, which makes it comfortable for small family use and long journeys. The boot space is 539 litres, capable of easily carrying big luggage, which can be extended up to 2144 litres by folding the rear seat. It does have a frunk, ‘front trunk storage’, which can be used to carry charging cables and small bags.
Its length is 4970 mm, making it a big car with better legroom and road presence; a width of 1999 mm provides more cabin space and stability. The height of 1560 mm is low but provides sport design; the wheelbase of 3000 mm is quite long and gives excellent rear-seat space. The ground clearance is 170 mm, which makes it good for mild rough roads.
