Rox Motor is a Chinese automotive manufacturer that has recently patented a full-size luxury PHEV, the Rox 01, in India. In the Indian market, this vehicle is expected to compete within the premium segment with a claimed range of 1,226 km.
While there is currently no official confirmation regarding its launch in India, it is anticipated that rather than being introduced directly by Rox Motor, it will be launched by late 2026 for the Indian market by JSW MG Motor India, a partner entity.

The car that has currently been patented in India by Rox Motors is expected to be available in multiple variants, with an ex-showroom price starting at ₹60 lakh and potentially reaching up to ₹70 lakh, although we will get to know the actual price with its launch.

Its dimensions in terms of length, width and height are 5,298 mm, 1,985 mm and 1,856 mm, respectively, which make its presence quite long, wide and tall; and the wheelbase is 3,010 mm, which helps in better stability at high speed as well as providing good cabin space with better legroom for all occupants.
The ground clearance and battery clearance are 272 mm and 324 mm, respectively; the water wading depth is 770 mm, and the wheel size is 21 inches. Together, these dimensions result in handling rough roads, floods and off-road trails easily.

As it is equipped with two motors, it comes with an all-wheel drive option, which helps in smooth driving also on rough roads. The acceleration of this PHEV is so quick, it takes only 5.5 seconds to reach the speed of 0 to 100 km/h, and top speed is 190 km/h.
It boasts an electric range of 235 km, with an overall range of 1,226 km. It means that if the battery is fully charged, one can drive up to 235 kilometres without using any fuel; however, if the fuel tank is also full alongside a fully charged battery, the total driving range extends up to 1,226 km.
