Skoda Peaq Global Debut In Mid-2026: Brand’s Largest SUV With Range Up To 600 KM

The Skoda Peaq is going to be the largest sport utility vehicle from the brand, based on the Vision 7S concept. Its global debut is scheduled for mid-2026 with claimed range upto 600 km, prior to which specifications and features of the EV are made public. Here, we have discussed everything we know so far.

Skoda Peaq Exterior & Design

It measures 4,874 mm in length and 1,664 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,965 mm, making it Skoda’s longest SUV, a characteristic that lends it a remarkably bold road presence. It features 10 colour options, ensuring that you have multiple choices to select from.

It is based on Skoda’s modern sedan design, clean surfaces that feature a strong, muscular stance and a minimalistic, bold look. At the front, we get to see the Tech-Deck face with vertical elements and LED illumination and full matrix LED headlights with up to 18 light elements.

At the sides, the flat and straight beltline gives a clean and modern look, and the flush door handles and the large alloy wheels, 19 inch to 21 inch, make its appearance even more eye-catching. At the rear, we get T-shaped LED tail lamps, a prominent rear spoiler and a clean tailgate.

Skoda Peaq Interior & Features

It comes with both 5-person and 7-person seating layouts, launched in a 2-3 configuration for the 5-seater and a 2-3-2 configuration for the 7-seater, which make it appealing for both small and large families.

The 5-seater variant offers a boot space of 1,010 litres, while the 7-seater provides only 299 litres; however, the rear seats are foldable, allowing the cargo space to be expanded as needed. It also features a 37-litre frunk (front storage compartment) which helps you carry your essentials with ease.

It has a 13.6-inch portrait touchscreen Android-based infotainment that supports Google Maps, Spotify and YouTube; a 10-inch digital driver display; and an augmented reality head-up display. It also features a digital key that unlocks or starts it via the phone.

For comfort and luxury, there’s a panoramic glass roof, massage seats and footrests, and ambient lighting, along with wellness modes. It features a premium Sonos sound system with 14 speakers; techtona has been used for the seating instead of leather, and the available interior themes are Loft, Lodge, Suite, Sportline, and Lounge.

Powertrain & Performance

It is available with two battery packs, 63kWh and 91kWh lithium-ion batteries with NMC chemistry, and three trims that are 60, 90 and 90X. The 60 and 90 are available with a single-motor RWD drivetrain and the 90x with a double-motor AWD configuration.

The 60, 90 and 90x come with single-speed automatic transmissions to ensure a smooth driving experience. The power output, acceleration timing, and top speed for each variant are discussed below:

  • 60: It generates 204 hp power, acceleration timing for 0-100 km/h is 8.6 seconds, and top speed is 160 km/h.
  • 90: It generates 286 hp power, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds, and has a top speed of 180 km/h.
  • 90x: It generates the power of 299 hp, the acceleration timing for 0-100 km/h is 6.7 seconds, and the top speed is the same as the variant 90.

The claimed range for the 60 is only 460 km, but for the 90 and 90x, it is 600 km. It is based on a 400-volt electrical architecture that supports up to 200 kW DC charging.

With the maximum power of a DC charger, it can charge from 10 to 80% in just half an hour. It does support AC home charging up to 11 kW, which takes 7-9 hours for a full charge.
