Tata Motors officially launched the Fearless+ QWD variant of the Harrier EV in the Indian market on March 21, 2026, offering buyers the most affordable all-wheel-drive option within the lineup. 

The electric vehicle features an advanced battery pack that delivers an impressive range on a single full charge, while its power and torque outputs are also excellent.

Like its other variants of the Tata Harrier EV, the Fearless+ QWD variant is also based on Tata Motors’ acti.ev Plus platform; it is a compact crossover SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle), which features a five-door layout.

Its front and rear suspension systems, independent MacPherson strut and independent multi-link, respectively, provide a comfortable driving experience. Additionally, it features excellent ground clearance, well-suited to Indian road conditions.

It comes with a seating capacity for five people, making it an excellent option for small families looking for an SUV that is eco-friendly, has low running costs, and is suitable for long-distance travel.

The ex-showroom price of the Tata Harrier EV Fearless+ QWD is ₹26.49 lakh. As for its on-road price, it comes to approximately ₹28 lakh in New Delhi. The on-road price may vary slightly across different regions of the country due to differences in road tax and other charges.

Tata Harrier EV Fearless+ QWD Specifications

The Tata Harrier EV Fearless+ comes equipped with a 75 kWh lithium-ion battery that utilises a liquid-cooled thermal management system to maintain a stable temperature during hot weather; when fully charged, it offers a Modified Indian Driving Cycle (MIDC) range of 622 kilometres.

Its real-world range is approximately 450 to 500 kilometres, depending on driving conditions. As for charging options, it supports both DC fast charging and AC home charging, the details of which are as follows:

  • It can support a DC charger up to 120 kW. It will take a total of 25 minutes to charge your EV from 20 to 80% at the charging station.
  • The maximum support capacity is 7.2 kW for an AC charger, which will take the entire night to fully charge your electric vehicle.

As it comes with an AWD option, it has two motors, front and rear motors together generating 390 bhp power and 504 Nm of torque. Its acceleration timing, i.e., the time taken to reach the speed of 0 to 100 km/h, is only 6.3 seconds, and its maximum speed is 170 km/h.

  • In front, we get to see a closed-off grille, befitting the fact that this is an EV, along with a connected LED DRL strip, a split headlamp setup, and a bold bumper featuring air channels that aid in providing improved aerodynamics.

The length, width and height of the Tata Harrier EV Fearless+ QWD are 4607 mm, 2132 mm and 1740 mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2741 mm, which provides better stability at high speeds and also results in giving good legroom for all occupants.

It features a front clearance of 205 mm, which is quite excellent for driving on rough roads, light off-roading, and clearing large speed breakers. The boot space is 502 litres, which gives ample cargo capacity to comfortably accommodate 3 to 4 large big pieces of luggage.
