Yangwang Four-Seater U8L To Be Unveiled At Beijing Auto Show 2026: Ultra-Luxury EV With VIP Rear Seats

Yangwang will unveil the four-seater version of the U8L in the Beijing Auto Show 2026, which will start from April 24, 2026. Hu Xiaoqing, general manager of the sales division, confirmed it by posting on his Weibo account on Wednesday. The four-seater is set to be more luxurious compared to what is available for sale in the Chinese market with a six-person seating layout.

The pre-sale for the U8L four-seater will start shortly after its unveiling. Reports say that it may start with a price around 1.5 million Chinese yuan in early May 2026. The launch may happen in mid-June 2026, and delivery also begins in the same month. In the Chinese market, it will compete with the Toyota Century SUV, Hongqi LS7 and AITO M9.

Set To Get 2 VIP Seats

The four-seater UL8 interior is all set to get an executive seating layout of 2-2 with zero gravity; the last two seats are VIP, making it the most focused area. The seating layout features better legroom, comfort and exclusivity and also reduces body pressure and fatigue during the long journey, as all the seats come with the heated, ventilated and massage functions.

It features a 23.6-inch driver display, 12.8-inch OLED central screen and 23.6-inch passenger display. It gets a 70-inch AR head-up display and shows navigation and data on the windscreen, which improves safety and also ensures a futuristic driving experience. The panoramic sunroof features a large open space, which makes the cabin more spacious and airy.

Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are added for infotainment; there’s also a premium sound system which includes a 22-speaker Dynaudio. It also gets multiple wireless chargers, a built-in satellite phone, a thermal imaging camera, a built-in fridge, ambient lighting, smart privacy glass, and electric side steps.

Gets 22-23 inch alloy wheels.

The four-seater version of UL8 will also feature the ‘Gate of Time & Space’ design that combines futuristic EV styling and rugged SUV form. Up front, it gets an “I-shape” grill, which symbolises strength and a digital modern look. It has matrix LED headlights, which make it recognisable at night and also enhance brand identity.

On the sides, it gets dual-tone paint with a black and gold combination, featuring ultra-luxury positioning. Also features a floating roof design and flush-type door handles for better aerodynamics. It is set to get 22–23 inch alloy wheels, which further improves its road presence and stance.

The back gets a clean rear; there is no spare wheel, making it a more elegant and urban luxury. The tailgate splits vertically, providing better accessibility and practical loading. Its full-width pixel LED tail lamps create a futuristic night signature, and a black crystal rear panel adds a premium and modern touch.

Features 4 Electric Motor Setup

The four-seater version of UL8 will also run on the EREV (Extended-Range Electric Vehicle) system, which combines a 2.0L turbo petrol engine and four electric motors, one for each wheel. The engine acts as a generator to give power to the motor; the setup features an all-wheel drive configuration. The power output is 880 kW and torque of 1280 Nm.

Like its sibling, six-seater UL8, the upcoming one with a four-seating layout will also feature a 49 kWh LPF battery, whose pure electric CLTC range is 210 km. If the battery capacity is increased to around 60 kWh, which is more likely, then the electric CLTC range will be around 315 km. The combined range is most expected around 1200 km.

The acceleration timing for 0-100 km/h is expected to be around 2.5-3 seconds, and top speed may get a limit up to 200 km/h. It will support a DC charger up to 150 kW; with maximum capacity, it will charge the vehicle from 10% to 80% within 18 minutes. An 11 kW AC charger will take 7-8 hours for a full charge.
