After opening a presale for the Xiaomi SkyNomad N70 and N90 series on July 30, 2026, the Xiaomi Auto has finally launched these extended-range electric SUVs in the Chinese market on September 7, 2026, at 7:00 PM Beijing Time. The delivery for these electrified SUVs is all set to start in late 2026; the most expected date for its delivery start is between November 2026 and December 2026.
The N70 model makes a debut in two variants, Pro and Max; they are both five-seaters, the former one costs 209,900 yuan (31,275 USD), and the latter is priced at 239,900 yuan (35,745 USD); and the N90 also has two variants, Max as a seven-seater and Max Studio as a five-seater with a pop-up tent, which is available on sale with the prices of 269,900 yuan (40,215 USD) and 299,900 yuan (44,685 USD), respectively.
Single-motor and double-motor setup.
The N70 and N90 series of Xiaomi’s Kunlun Extended-Range Electric Vehicle platform get a 1.5-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol-powered internal combustion engine that has a thermal efficiency of 44%, and it delivers 112 kW (152 hp) power. Pro variants get one electric motor on the front axle that delivers 210 kW (282 hp) power, can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 7.8 seconds, and reach the top speed of 190 kmph.
The Max variants have two e-motors; one is the same as the Pro variant at the front axle, and the other is at the rear axle that puts out 100 kW (134 hp) power and 690 Nm torque. The top speed for the Max variant of the N70 and N90 is 240 km/h and 190 km/h, respectively. The single-motor variant gets a 52 kWh LFP battery pack, giving the range up to 383 km, and the double-motor trims are equipped with the 76 kWh NCM that runs up to 505 km on CLTC conditions.
Longer wheelbase and multiple colour options.
Dimensionally, the N70 and N90 are different from one another. The length, width, and height are 4,960 mm (195.3 in), 1,998 mm (78.7 in), and 1,765 to 1,785 mm (69.5 to 70.3 in), respectively, for the N70, with the wheelbase of 2,950 mm (116.1 in); but the N90 measures 5,285 mm (208.1 in) in length, 1,998 mm (78.7 in) in width, and 1,825 mm (71.9 in) in height, with a 3,080 mm (121.3 in) wheelbase.
The ground clearance is 132 to 192 mm with the adjustable air suspension for both variants. A total of six colour options are set to be available; they are blue, beige, grey, green, black, and white. Three interior themes are offered; they are Mocha Brown, Midnight Black, and Ceramic Beige. The kerb weight for N70 is 2,453 to 2,561 kg, and the same for N90 is 2,800 to 2,840 kg.
High-tech cabin and smart features.
The cabin has a 16.1-inch 3K main infotainment display with wireless smartphone connectivity and over-the-air software updates, a 20-inch Augmented Reality Head-Up Display with 15,000-nit brightness that projects driving data on the windscreen, and an 8.8-inch digital gauge cluster. Other cabin features are a 21.4-inch 3K drop-down ceiling display and a 6.88-inch detachable touch display for climate control and settings.
The entire cabin runs on Xiaomi HyperOS, getting powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8650 processor. Premium features that enhance cabin premiumness are a 50-ward wireless smartphone charger, a 25-speaker 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos surround setup, a 9-litre built-in refrigerator, and a Xiaomi HAD featuring urban and highway navigation on autopilot and full-stack valet parking assistance.
