The market launch of the MG 07, a fully electric mid-to-large liftback sedan, in the Chinese market will be by late 2026; prior to that, they have started the pre-sale on July 29, 2026, with the tentative price. They have introduced a total of five variants; refer to the table below to check what each one costs in CNY, INR, and USD.

Notably, the launch price is expected to be slightly lower than the presale amount; the carmaker will announce it at the time of launch with all the pending specifications and features. Reports suggest that the delivery will start in September 2026, within four weeks after the market launch.
This car is only available as a battery electric vehicle, which features an electric motor, a permanent magnet synchronous motor, on the front axle. Notably, the e-motor is mated with a one-speed automatic reduction gearbox. Available with four different battery packs, depending on which the CLTC range on the full charge varies.
With the 67 kWh liquid-solid battery pack, it can run up to 650 km, but the variant that is equipped with a LiDAR unit has a range of only 610 km; and the variant that comes with a 91 kWh CATL ternary NMC battery pack can run up to 845 km. The drivetrain for all variants is front-wheel drive, and top speed is 200 km/h.
Notably, the electric motor generates the peak power of 176 kW (236 hp) and 235 kW (315 hp) with the standard and larger battery pack, respectively. The carmaker has also disclosed the 0 to 100 acceleration timing for both battery pack variants; for the standard one, it takes 6.9 seconds, but the larger one only takes 5.9 seconds.
The variant equipped with the standard battery pack is built on 400-volt electrical architecture, but the larger one is based on 800-volt high voltage, which supports 5c charging, meaning it can charge with the DC charger 5 times its capacity. The carmaker will reveal the charging output and timings with the launch of the vehicle.
Outside, it has slim LED daylight running lights and model headlights, giving it a unique front-end view to make it stand out from its competitors. The semi-hidden flush-type door handles not only add premiumness but also help with improving efficiency by reducing the aerodynamic drag. The full-width LED taillight creates a wide stance and makes it recognizable even from the back. The dimensions are:

Features Momenta R7 World Model intelligent driving system, which works with a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor and XHEART X7 AI driving chip, and features Urban Navigate on Autopilot, parking-space-to-parking-space assisted driving, and autonomous parking assist. The ADAS supports over-the-air software updates for continuous improvements.
The cabin gets a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P cockpit processor behind the steering wheel and a 15.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen infotainment system at the center of the dashboard, which runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P cockpit processor. Front seats come with heating, ventilation, and massage functions to enhance seating comfort.
