VinFast is set to launch its third electric vehicle in India, Limo Green. Over the past few months, the EV has been spotted testing on public roads on multiple occasions; now, the automaker itself has confirmed that the launch is scheduled for 15 April 2026.
Advance bookings have already commenced as of April 1, 2026, with a token amount of ₹21,000. Reports suggest that delivery of this electric vehicle will begin within two months of its launch, so we can expect deliveries to commence in June 2026.
The launch of the Limo Green is being awaited among EV enthusiasts in India. As an MVP, it is poised to be an ideal choice for families and fleet operators. The arrival of the EV will pose competition to the Kia Carens Clavis EV and the BYD eMax7.
In the Indian market, the ex-showroom price is expected to range between ₹19 lakh and ₹25 lakh for standard variants to top-trim.
Powertrain & Performance
The VinFast Limo Green EV is powered by a single motor which is mounted on the front wheels. It features an FWD drivetrain, and its transmission is a single-speed automatic, which makes it ideal for city driving.
Its motor generates the power of 198 bhp and torque of 280 Nm, and the acceleration time for 0 to 100 km/h is expected to be 10 seconds, while the top speed is likely to reach up to 140 km/h. It comes with a 60 kWh battery which gives an NEDC range of 450 km on a full charge.
It supports up to 80 kW DC fast charging, which charges from 10% to 70% in just 30 minutes. It does support the AC charging of a maximum power of 11 kW, which takes 8 to 9 hours to reach a full charge.
Dimensions & Space
It features a length of 4740 mm, which results in a spacious cabin and big boot space. It measures 1872 mm in width, providing occupants with ample shoulder room. With a height of 1725 mm, it offers excellent headroom, and its 2840 mm wheelbase ensures good legroom even for rear-seating passengers.
It comes with ground clearance of 185 mm, which is well-suited for Indian road conditions, as it helps to easily navigate through the potholes and speed breakers. As an MPV, it offers a seating capacity for seven people in a 2-3-2 layout; seven people can comfortably travel with it.
Exterior & Design
At the front, the VinFast Limo Green gets a signature ‘V’ LED DRL design, which connects across both sides; this lends the vehicle a futuristic look while also establishing a grand identity. Like other EVs, its front grille is closed to ensure superior aerodynamics, giving the front fascia a clean and modern aesthetic.
It features a flat profile and large windows that enhance its usability. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels with aerodynamic designs. The rear features a full-width LED light bar with the brand logo in the centre. The rear windshield has a squarish shape, which lends the vehicle a modern and wide-stance appearance.
Interior & Features
The VinFast Limo Green gets an utterly free dashboard design cabin with very few physical buttons. It features a 10.1-inch floating infotainment system that supports both wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay as well as Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
It comes with a heads-up display instead of the traditional instrument cluster and a seating area made up of soft-touch material that provides comfort even during a long journey. It also features automatic climate control and rear AC vents for occupants’ convenience.
To ensure the safety of occupants, it gets multiple airbags and other safety features that include ABS with EBD, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, traction control, a 360° camera, TPMS and Level 2 ADAS.
