Updated Lucid Gravity Coming In Summer 2026: DreamDrive 2 Premium Now Standard

Lucid Motors is all set to launch the updated version of Gravity as the 2027 model year in summer 2026 for the United States market in variants that are Touring and Grand Touring. The prices for the standard and top-end trims are $81,750 and $100,750, respectively.

What’s new in the 2027 Lucid Gravity?

Both variants of the 2027 Lucid Gravity now get DreamDrive 2 Premium, an advanced driver-assistance system, which helps with safe and smooth driving. It includes the following features to enhance driving experience, ensure active safety, and improve parking experience:

Driving Experience:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control: It helps the driver to set speed and ensures a safe distance from the vehicle ahead.
  • High Beam Assistant: It’s a smart feature that can automatically switch the headlights’ high beam to low beam at nighttime for better visibility.
  • Traffic Sign Recognition: It reads the road signs, such as speed limit and warnings, and displays them on the digital instrument cluster.
  • Traffic Drive-Off Alert: It alerts when the vehicle in front starts to move in traffic.
  • Drowsy Driver Alert: It warns drivers to take a break when it detects fatigue on the face or through body movement.
  • Distracted Driver Alert: It alerts the driver if he/she is not paying attention to driving, i.e., not focusing on the road.
  • Drive Assist: It keeps the vehicle centered in the lane by combining steering, braking, and acceleration.

Active Safety

  • Forward Collision Warning: It warns the driver if he or she is about to collide with the vehicle ahead.
  • Automatic Emergency Braking: It applies the brakes automatically to avoid the crash and/or reduce it.
  • Cross-Traffic Protection: It detects vehicles approaching from the front and rear and warns the driver about the probable collision. It also applies the brake automatically to prevent the car from colliding, if needed.
  • Lane Departure Protection: If the driver drifts out of the lane, it issues a warning. If the car doesn’t come on the lane even after the warning, it gently steers it back automatically.
  • Blind Spot Protection: It warns the driver about the vehicle running ahead if it isn’t visible from the driving seat.
  • Safe Exit Protection: It won’t let any occupant open the door if any vehicle from the back is approaching.
  • Blind Spot Display: It shows a live camera view of the area that isn’t in the driver’s sight.

  • Park Distance Warning: It warns when the rear of the car is about to come in touch with any object during the parking.
  • Surround View Monitoring: It gives a 360° view of the car, which helps in easier parking even in tight parking spots.
  • Rear Parking Protection: It automatically applies brakes when the car detects any object or person behind at the time of reversing.

The top trim now gets a previously paid package as standard, which includes a 36-inch display and 12.6-inch touchscreen, a wireless charging pad for rear-seat passengers, USB ports for both rows, and 21/22-inch alloy wheels.

What about the 2027 Lucid Gravity’s powertrain?

The setup features AWD configuration, and the transmission is single-speed automatic that ensures a linear driving feel.

The standard variant generates the power of 560 hp, and the top trim 828 hp. The acceleration timing of 0-60 mph is 4 seconds for the touring trim, and the same for the grand touring variants stands at 3.4 seconds only.

The base one features an 89 kWh battery, which gives a range of 337 miles, and supports up to a 350 kW DC charger; and the top one gets a 123 kWh battery, on a full charge it runs up to 450 miles, and it supports a maximum 400 kW charger. It charges 10-80% in 20 minutes.
