BYD’s premium brand, Denza, unveiled the Z9 GT, a luxury high-performance electric car, at the Paris Opera 2026 for the European market. It is available for booking in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the UK, the Netherlands and Belgium with a starting price of 101,000 euros through the brand’s official websites.
It is available in five colour options that are Starry Black, Starlight Grey, Midnight Purple and Moonlit Beige. There’s a high speculation that the delivery will begin in May 2026. In the European market, it is all set to compete with the Tesla Model S (Plaid), Audi RS e-tron GT and Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo.
Comes With Premium GT Proportion
The Z9 GT features a closed-off grill to endure the EV styling and slim LED headlights giving a focused and high-tech look. The number-front bumper is quite sporty with air channels, which helps with cooling and drag reduction. There’s sculpted bonnet lines that add muscular character and also add performance appeal.
It gets a shooting brake silhouette that combines sportiness with wagon practicality; its long wheelbase and long stance give it a premium GT proportion. The flush door handles at the sides improve aerodynamics and give it a modern and clean look. For better efficiency, there is a sloping roofline and large alloy wheels.

The rear gets a full-width LED light bar that gives it a signature night identity. The spoiler at the roof and vehicle’s back is ‘active’, improving its stability at high speeds. It has a layered bumper with diffuser styling which adds a sporty as well as a performance-inspired look and features a wide stance that gives a muscular appearance.
Gets Two Built-In Refrigerators
The Z9 GT’s interior gets a multi screen layout making it a digital cockpit. It gets three touch screens, including a 17.3-inch central infotainment, a 13.2-inch driver display and a 13.2-inch passenger screen. The digital cabin is powered by the BYD 9000 cockpit chip, which comes with AI-based voice control, smart assistance, and automation.

The cabin gets a 26-speaker Devialet sound system which gives a theatre-like audio experience. Seats are made up of soft-touch premium quality material which features ventilation, heating and massage functions, and they are also electronically adjustable. There’s two built-in refrigerators inside the cabin, with 4-litres capacity for the first row and 6-litres for the second.
The ambient lighting is added inside the cabin for premiumness. It is also equipped with smart features that make driving convenient. It has the BAS 3.0+ Advanced Driver Assistance System, which includes 33 sensors and 2 LiDAR units. Its key functions are highway and city autonomous navigation, self-parking and adaptive cruise control.

Gives Range Up To 1036 KM
The Z9 GT comes with a two-blade 2.0 lithium iron phosphate battery, which are 102.3 kWh and 122.5 kWh. It is available in five variants, whose CLTC range on a full charge is 820 km, 860 km, 880 km, 1,002 km, and 1,036 km, depending on the battery pack and drivetrain. It supports flash charging, which can charge 10-80% within 5 minutes; to complete the charge up to 97%, it takes 9 minutes. In case of extreme cold, it takes 3 more minutes for charging than standard time.
It is available with single-motor RWD and three-motor AWD options but the transmission for both is single-speed automatic. The RWD variant generates the power of 370 kW, its top speed is 240 km/h, and acceleration timing of 0-100 km/h is 3.4 seconds; and for AWD trims, each front and rear motor’s power output is 230 kW and 310 kW, respectively. The combined power output for the AWD version is 850 KW, its top speed is 270 km/h, 0-100 km/h acceleration timing is 2.7 seconds.
