The Vietnamese automobile maker, VinFast, launched the VF MPV 7 on April 10, 2026, in a single variant with single battery pack, with an ex-showroom price of ₹24.49 lakh. It is a three-row all-electric multiple-purpose vehicle (MPV) with a seating capacity of seven people in a two-three-two layout with a boot space of only 126 litres.
The length is 4,740 mm, the width is 1,872 mm and the height is 1,734 mm; these measurements make it a large car in its segment. The wheelbase of 2,840 mm gives ample legroom for second-row and third-row passengers, and the ground clearance of 185 mm is considered good for Indian roads, so it can easily tackle potholes and speed breakers.
With the launch, it is available for booking on company websites for an amount of ₹21,000. It comes with a 7-year vehicle warranty and a 10-year battery warranty, and free charging services are also available until March 31, 2029, at the V-Green EV charging station. The delivery may start in May 2026, and it will compete with Kia Carens Clavis EV and BYD eMax 7.
Features Single-Battery Pack
The VF MPV 7 is available with a 60.13 kWh LPF battery pack, which gives a range of 517 km on a full charge on the ARAI scale. It is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor that is mounted with front-axle featuring front-wheel drive configuration.
It has a single-speed automatic transmission. Its motor generates the power of 204 hp and torque of 280 Nm; it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in only 9 seconds, and the top speed goes up to 140 km/h.

It supports DC chargers up to 80 kW, which takes 30 minutes for 10 to 70 per cent charging. It comes with an 11 KW portable AC charger for home charging that takes 6 hours 30 minutes for a full charge.
Gets ORVMs
Up front, the VF MPV 5 features a slim OLED light bar that merges with the brand’s logo, giving it a modern look. It gets vertically stacked LED projector headlamps that are positioned lower on the bumper. The closed-off grill reflects its EV styling.
On the sides, it gets 19-inch aero-optimised wheels made up of alloy that enhances its road presence. Instead of traditional mirrors, body-coloured ORVMs are added that also have integrated turn indicators. Around the window lines, it features a Chrome strip to add the premium touch.

At the rear, connected LED taillights are added with the brand’s logo in the centre that mirrors the front-end lighting profile. The spoilers are added with the roof adding sporty elements, and the back also gets a wiper and washer with a shark-fin antenna for practicality.
Comes With 3-Row AC Vents
The cabin is available in two themes, which are double-tone with black and brown and all-black. It gets a single floating touchscreen of 10.1 inches and supports wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, which acts as both an infotainment system for passengers and an instrument cluster for drivers. It features a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel with physical buttons.

The seats are made up of leather for a premium touch, and all seats get adjustable headrests. The driver’s seat is powered, and the second-row seats are available with sliding and reclining functions. The automatic climate control is available with AC vents for all 3 rows. There’s a wireless charging pad, and two cup holders are notable inside the cabin.
For safety, it includes four airbags that play a crucial role in saving lives, an anti-lock braking system and electronic brake force distribution with electronic stability control, a rear parking camera with sensors, an electronic parking brake, hill hold assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
