Xiaomi is all set to unveil the YU7 GT, a high-performance all-electric SUV, in May 2026; the Chinese automaker has confirmed it at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show. Its price is expected to be between 450,000 and 500,000 yuan in China, which is equivalent to 65,200 to 72,500 dollars in the United States.
The EV is a five-door SUV with a seating capacity of 5 people in a layout of 2 and 3. The dimensions in terms of length are 5,015 mm, width is 2,007 mm, height is 1,597 mm and wheelbase is 3,000 mm. These measurements make it a full-size SUV but smaller than its main rival, Tesla Model X Plaid.
101.7 kWh Battery Pack
The YU7 GT will come equipped with a double motor; one is mounted with the front axle and another with the rear. The setup features an all-wheel drive drivetrain, and the vehicle’s transmission is single-speed automatic. The front motor generates the power of 450 kW (≈604 hp), but the same for the rear is 738 kW (≈990 hp), and the combined power output is 738 kW (≈990 hp).
The car is set to get a 101.7 kWh NMC battery pack whose CLTC range is 705 km. The top speed goes up to 300 km/h, and acceleration timing for 0-100 km is yet to be revealed but anticipated to be around 2 seconds. Expected to be based on 800-volt electrical architecture and supports up to a 500 kW DC charger that will take around 15 minutes from 10% to 80%.
Double-Chamber Air Suspension

The vehicle will have double wishbone independent suspension for the front wheels to allow precise control of wheel movement and angle, and the rear may get five-link independent rear suspension to provide excellent ride comfort and stability balance. They will come with double-chamber air suspension, continuous damping control and an active ride stability system.
Its front wheels’ braking is likely to feature larger carbon-ceramic discs with multi-piston callipers that handle most of the front braking, and the rear is expected to have carbon-ceramic discs which maintain balance and stability. It will also get regenerative braking, which converts the braking energy to electricity to improve efficiency and range.
Water-Drop LED Headlights

The image of the YU7 GT from Xiaomi shows that its front fascia is kept aggressive for a sharp and sporty look. Features Xiaomi’s signature lighting ‘water-drop’ LED headlights to improve visibility and give a signature look. Up front, there’s a large front splitter that pushes the air downward to enhance stability.
In profile, it features an aerodynamic body shape to reduce air resistance. Get frameless ORVMs to add a sport look. The doors at the sides get flush-type handles to add premiumness and improve aerodynamics. Equipped with 21-inch alloy wheels that enhance road presence and grip.
It comes with the ducktail spoiler at the back to make it stable at high speed; the taillight is ‘halo’-shaped to make it eye-catching. There is a large diffuser in vertical blade design at the rear which controls airflow, and GT badging is also added to the back to reflect the performance-focus identity of the vehicle.
16.1-Inch 3K Infotainment System
YU7 GT’s interior features are yet to be revealed. It is likely to get a 1.1-metre HyperVision panoramic display that shows all the driving data and a 16.1-inch 3K central touchscreen as an infotainment system to control media, AC, navigation and car settings. A rear passenger touchscreen is also expected, which may be around 6.68 inches.
The screen is set to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, which features customisable user interface widgets. It will also support OTA updates. It is likely to be available with a 14-speaker audio system, but 25 units with Dolby are expected to be offered as an option. The front seat will come with heating, ventilation and massage functions.
