Tesla has reduced the price for the Model 3 by launching the premium rear-wheel drive variant that is built in China, meaning the car that they introduced in the Canadian market is imported from China as a CBU. Thanks to the 6% tariff on Chinese products, the price is C$39,490. The booking has already started, and delivery is expected to happen in June 2026.
Dimensions & Space
The dimensions in terms of length, width, and height are 4,720 mm, 1,933 mm, and 1,441 mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2,875 mm. Compared to its competitors such as the BMW i4, BYD Seal, and Hyundai Ioniq 6, it is slightly smaller than the Tesla Model Y L but gives ample legroom for the rear-seating passengers.
Come with the seating capacity of 5 people in the configuration of 2 and 3. Their row seats are bench-type but comfortable for three adults for a short journey, but for a long journey, seating of two adults and a child is ideal. Features a boot space of 594 litres and a frunk of 88 litres, meaning overall cargo capacity is 682 litres.
Interior & Features

The interior is equipped with a 15.4-inch touchscreen for occupant infotainment; it acts as the main control hub for navigation, climate, media, and car settings. There’s also an 8-inch rear touchscreen for rear-seating passengers. It comes with a soft-touch dashboard and trims and premium-quality seating material for premiumness.
The cabin also features multi-colour ambient lighting that enhances mood during the night journey, a wireless charging pad and USB ports for phone charging, and a full-length fixed panoramic roof with UV and heat protection. It supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile connectivity and OTA updates for the latest software updates for the infotainment system.
It comes with a multiple-speaker premium audio sound system, which makes the cabin’s sound experience immersive, and a fully touchscreen-controlled AC. The front seats are electrically adjustable, and to make the driving semi-autonomous, it gets Autopilot and ADAS that works with two important features: adaptive cruise control and lane keeping.
Powertrain & Performance

It is equipped with the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor on the front axle, featuring a rear-wheel drive drivetrain. Its transmission is single-speed automatic, the same as the competitor’s. The power output is 194 kW (260 hp), and peak torque is 240 Nm. The acceleration timing for 0 to 100 km is 4.2 seconds, and top speed goes up to 201 km.
Offered with a single LFP battery pack of 77.8 kWh, whose range is 463 km on a full charge in the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTC) condition. It supports fast DC chargers up to 350 kW, which take 30 minutes for 10-80% charging. An AC charger of 11.2 kW comes as standard and takes 9 hours for the full charge.
Exterior & Design
Up front, it gets slim LED headlights to give it a sharper, more aggressive look and better visibility for nighttime driving. There’s no traditional grill; for modern EV styling, it features a lower and smoother nose. It comes with a clean bumper design for better airflow and a wide-stance appearance to ensure that the car looks sportier and planted on the road.
On the sides, it features a coupe-like sloping roofline that gives it a sporty but practical sedan shape; flush-type door handles to reduce drag, improve aerodynamics, and add a premium touch; frameless windows that add a premium touch like the luxury cars; uncluttered body panels that make its appearance eye-catching; and aero-optimized alloy wheels that improve road presence.
At the back, the vehicle gets new C-shaped LED taillights reflecting the modern lighting signature, a clean boot lid to enhance its premium look, and a rear diffuser that is subtle but helps with better airflow under the car. Its wide back stance not only improves road presence but also makes it recognizable in traffic.
