The Japanese automaker Suzuki Motor Corporation has launched the five-door compact SUV Suzuki eVitara in Australia in three variants that are Motion FWD, Ultra FWD, and Ultra AWD. The pre-order is already taking place with the limited-time offer that is only for the first 100 buyers, which will end on July 1, 2026.
The limited-time price for the first variant is AU$47,990 in Queensland and northern NSW and AU$46,990 for the rest of the country; the second variant is available with the price of AU$52,990, and it is only available for sale in Queensland and northern NSW, and the third is available for sale across the country with the price of AU$56,990.
After July 1, 2026, pricing for the Motion FWD, Ultra FWD and Ultra AWD will increase to AU$49,990, AU$54,990 and AU$58,990, respectively. Notably, the second variant is available only in Queensland and northern NSW; drivers from other parts of the country can’t purchase it. Its main competitors are the Kia EV3, the MG ZS EV and the BYD Atto.
Seating, Boot & Dimensions
It comes with the seating capacity of 5 people in a layout of 2 and 3. The second-row seats are bench-type but with ample legroom, headroom and shoulder room thanks to its 2700 mm wheelbase, 1635 mm height and 1800 mm width, respectively. Its length of 4275 mm enhances its road presence, and a ground clearance of 180 mm helps to easily pass the potholes and speed breakers.
Its boot space is 244 litres, which is expandable to 310 litres by sliding the seat. The rear seat is foldable, going so far as to increase the cargo capacity to 562 litres. The top-end variant, Ultra AWD, has a cargo space of 238 litres because an Infinity-branded subwoofer is installed, but folding the seat increases the cargo significantly and helps in carrying luggage.
Features & Technology

The cabin is equipped with a 10.1-inch Infotainment Touchscreen at the centre of the dashboard that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for connecting and a 10.25-inch Digital Cluster under the steering wheel that is available with three different layouts showing all driving data. Even though they are separate screens, they look integrated to give the modern one-large-screen feel.
Inside the cabin, it also gets USB-A and USB-C ports in both rows and a wireless charging pad only in the Ultra variants in the front row for fast phone charging. The Motion variant is equipped with a 4-speaker sound system, and the Ultras have an 8-speaker system by Harman. Other features highlights are 12-colour ambient lighting, which enhances the mood, and single-zone climate control.
The features that are standard in the Ultra variant are a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, both front seats are heated to keep the driver and front seating passenger warm during the cold, and a glass roof with a sunshade, which makes the cabin airy and spacious. All variants come with 7 airbags with Level 2 ADAS (advanced driving assistant system), provide semi-autonomous driving capabilities.
Motor, Performance, Battery, Range & Charging

Built on the HEARTECT-e platform, the Motion FWD gets a single motor on the front axle that generates the power of 196 kW and torque of 193 Nm, which makes the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.6 seconds; the Ultra FWD also gets a single motor on the front axle, but its power output and peak torque are 128 kW and 193 Nm, respectively, which sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.5 seconds.
The Ultra AWD is available with two motors, one on each axle; the combined power output is 135 kW and 307 Nm. To accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h, it takes only 7.4 seconds. Notably, the maximum speed for each variant is 160 km/h. The Motion FWD is available with an LFP battery pack of 49 kWh whose WLTP range is 344 km.
The Ultra FWD and Ultra AWD are available with the LFP battery pack of 61 kWh, whose range is 396 km and 426 km, respectively, on the WLTP cycle. It supports DC fast chargers up to 70 KW that take 45 minutes for 10 to 80 per cent charging, and get a 11 KW AC charger for home charging that takes 4.5 to 5.5 hours to charge the vehicle fully.
