ARCFOX Alpha T7 Could Be China’s Next Big SUV Hit After 30,000 Pre-Orders

Arcfox started the presale for the Alpha T7, a mid-size electric SUV, on August 26, 2026. As per the company, they have received more than 30,000 orders in just 3 days (72 hours), showing a clear indication that the buyers are eagerly waiting for the launch of this car. This vehicle market launch will happen in the next few days with the price announcement and specifications disclosure.

The premium electric vehicle brand owned by BAIC Group, Arcfox, started the presale for this car and announced the tentative price, which is highly anticipated to be revised at the time of launch. The pre-sales are already taking place for a total of 9 variants, including 4 electric vehicles and 5 extended-range electric vehicles.

Seeing the preorder trends, it seems that after the market launch this car may set the record for the highest number of sales in the debut month. The presale starting price is 137,800 yuan (20,500 USD); the launch price is highly anticipated to be lower than this. After the launch, it is all set to compete with the BYD Song L DM-i, Deepal S07, and Leapmotor C11.

Notably, the carmaker even says that out of 30,000 orders, the first 10,000 were received in just 2 hours. It is yet to be seen that these preorders actually turn into sales. The length, width, and height are 5,020 mm, 1,996 mm, and 1,685 mm, respectively, with a wheelbase of 3,040 mm.

Two battery packs are available for this car, which are 75.4 kWh and 84.8 kWh, giving 650 km and 715 km, respectively.
