Arcfox, the Chinese automaker BAIC Group’s premium electric vehicle brand, will introduce the Arcfox Alpha T7, a mid-to-large electrified sport utility vehicle, in the very near future. In early 2026, it was spotted testing; after that, in mid-2026, it appeared in China’s MIIT regulatory filings, revealing many specifications. In early July 2026, they released the exterior images officially, and now its interior has been spied, unveiling interior features.
They are expected to start the pre-sale for Arcfox Alpha T7 in the third quarter of 2026, and the market launch will take place in late 2026. As of now, there are no details regarding the price; we are expecting that it will cost under 200,000 yuan, which translates to 28.35 lakh rupees. Following the launch, it will compete with the Onvo L60, the Tesla Model Y, and the Xpeng G7.
This car will make its debut as an electric vehicle and extended-range electric vehicle. The EV gets a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a one-speed automatic gearbox on the rear axle, which generates the power of 227 kW (304 hp). Under the floor, it features two lithium-ion battery pack options, whose capacity is still pending.
The standard one gives the CLTC range of 650 kilometers, but the same with the large one is 715 kilometers. And the EREV features a 1.5-liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol-powered internal combustion engine, which acts as a generator to power the motor when the battery pack is depleted. Its power output is 77 kW (103 hp).
It also gets a permanent magnet synchronous motor with single-speed automatic transmission, but it delivers the power of 200 kW (268 hp). Under the floor, it has a 42.5 kWh LFP battery pack giving a CLTC range of 232 kilometers. The drivetrain of both EV and EREV is rear-wheel drive, and their top speed is 180 km/h. They are yet to reveal the acceleration timing for both versions.
The length, width, and height of the Arcfox Alpha T7 are 5,020 mm, 1,996 mm, and 1,685 mm, respectively. Its wheelbase is 3,040 mm. The front track is 1,700 mm, and the rear is 1,712 mm. Sit in the 21-inch wheel and 245/55 tires. Features a kerb weight of 1,980 kg to 2,050 kg and a gross vehicle weight of 2,355 kg to 2,425 kg. Comes with 5 people’s seating capacity in 2-3 arrangements.
The cabin has a multi-function steering wheel with a physical button and Arcfox logo on it. Behind this wheel, it has a slim panoramic ‘Skyline Screen’ that has a digital instrument cluster showing all the driving related information clearly. Just above the center console, it has a large floating central touchscreen with a Skyline Screen-style display on the dashboard, which acts as a control panel.
The center console, which is available between the co-passenger and driver seats, has a wireless phone charging pad for phone charging convenience, and there are two cup holders. It also has an electronic shift-by-wire stalk gear selector, which is mounted on the steering column. For the first row, it gets dashboard-integrated slim horizontal air-conditioning vents that keep cool in summer and warm in winter.
The cabin is expected to run on a Huawei-powered smart cockpit. It is certain the centrally mounted screen will support AI-based voice assistants, over-the-air software updates for connected car technology, and wireless smartphone charging connectivity; however, it is still uncertain it will feature only Huawei HiCar or others too.
Other expected features inside the cabin are Huawei Qiankun ADS (Advanced Driving System) with LiDAR supporting navigation autopilot pilot, multi-color ambient lighting enhancing the occupants’ mode, a panoramic sunroof to get a wider view of the sky, and automatic climate control that maintains cabin temperature.
