On August 28, 2026, IM Motors, an electric vehicle brand associated with SAIC Motor, launched the all-new IM L6, an all-electric sedan, in three total variants: Max, Pro Max, and Ultra AWD, with the promotional prices of 199,900 yuan (29,480 USD), 217,900 yuan (32,130 USD), and 259,900 yuan (38,330 USD). The revamped pure-electric sedan sits below the premium sibling IM L7.
Dimensions and spaces.
The length, width, and height of the revamped IM M6 are 4,924 mm, 1,960 mm, and 1,474 mm, respectively, with the wheelbase of 2,950 mm. Its turning radius is 4.39 m. There are two rows inside the cabin; in the first row there are two individuals, and the second has three in a bench-like structure. Behind the rear seats, there’s a decent cargo capacity that helps in carrying luggage.
Exterior design and color options.
Outside it has willow-leaf-shaped LED headlights that integrate both the daylight running light and headlamps, bumpers integrated with active air intakes, a sloping roofline, flared wheel arches, Y-shaped spoke alloy wheels, flush-type door handles, and A-pillar-mounted outside rear-view mirrors.

Other exterior features are the IM logo on the bonnet, roof-mounted LiDAR, blackout A, B, and C pillars, frameless door, roof-integrated rear windshield, spoiler on the tailgate hip, full-width LED taillight, and the brand’s logo on the tailgate. Six color options are available: Rice Silver, Mucha Green, Raphael Tea, Matisse Red, Morandi Purple, and Ares Black.

Interior design and features.
Its cabin has a two-spoke squared steering wheel that is wrapped with leather; the column of the same has a gear selector. On the dashboard, it has a 26.3-inch main panoramic display, which combines the digital instrument cluster and central infotainment display; additionally, there’s a 15.5-inch front-passenger entertainment screen.
These screens run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295-powered intelligent cockpit. A B&O premium audio system with a 21-speaker 7.1.4 surround sound system is added to the cabin to ensure an immersive audio experience for video and audio streaming.

Other features that further enhance the cabin premiumness are a 5.7-liter heating and cooling refrigerator, 50W wireless phone charging, USB Type-C fast-charging ports, dual-zone intelligent heat-pump air-conditioning, and premium leather upholstery.
It also has 12-way electrically adjustable front seats, and the driver’s seat comes with the memory and easy-entry function. The top-end variant has front ventilated, heated, and massaged seats; the co-passenger seat comes as a “space seat” to enhance the seating comfort.
Motor setup, battery capacity, range, and other details.
The Max and Pro Max variants are available with a rear-wheel-drive drivetrain; they get an electric motor on the rear axle whose power outputs are 245 kW and 300 kW, respectively. The acceleration timing for 0 to 100 km/h is 5.9 seconds for the first one and only 4.9 seconds for the second.
The 76 kWh and 93 kWh lithium-ion battery packs are available for the Max and Pro Max, respectively; the former one gives a range of 725 km, and the latter runs up to 850 km under CLTC conditions.
Its Ultra variant is available as an all-wheel-drive drivetrain, getting one electric motor on each axle. The combined power output is 500 kW, and peak torque is 800 Nm. It is equipped with the 103 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, giving the CLTC range of 840 km. Its acceleration timing for 0 to 100 km/h is 2.74 seconds.
They are based on 800V NEO high-voltage electrical architecture supporting DC chargers up to 396 kW, which takes 15 minutes to add the CLTC range of 580 km. The top speed for the first two variants is 220 km/h, and the last one’s is 268 km/h.
