Geely Auto launched the 2026 Geely Emgrand Up Series on May 24, 2026, for China in three variants: 1.5L Luxury MT, 1.5L Comfort CVT, and 1.5L Luxury CVT. The official price ranges from 68,900 to 77,900 CNY (10,335 to 11,685 USD), and the limited-time offer retail cost is 55,900 to 64,900 CNY (8,385 to 9,735 USD). In the domestic market, its main competitors are the BYD Qin Plus, the Changan Eado Plus, and the Volkswagen Lavida.
Upfront, it has a large shield-shaped front grille, three-piece LED daylight running lights inside the main headlights’ housings, and a wide air intake for cooling. On the sides, it features a clean body silhouette, double-tone outside rear-view mirrors with integrated side lights, mechanical door handles, a blackout window surround, and multiple-spoke alloy wheels.
The rear get-through-type LED taillights with the Geely lettering in the center, just the light, minimalist tailgate design, and layered bumper. Available in seven color options that include white, black, red, blue, tan, dark gray, and the newly introduced glory gold. Its length is 4,638 mm, width is 1,820 mm, and height is 1,460 mm. The wheelbase and ground clearance are 2,650 mm and 151 mm, respectively.
Available with the seating capacity of 5 people in the traditional layout, it has a boot space of 500 liters that helps in carrying luggage. The cabin comes with the Splendid Orange with the black and orange elements. The dashboard is equivalent to a 10.2-inch HD digital instrument display, which shows up to 27 pieces of driving information that include speed, fuel consumption, tire pressure, navigation guidance, ADAS alerts, and driving data monitoring.
At the center of the dashboard, there’s a 14.6-inch floating high-definition touchscreen for infotainment; it also acts as a control panel of the cabin, which runs on the Geely Galaxy operating system. It has many features, including voice control, over-the-air updates, Gaode navigation maps, Flyme Link smartphone connectivity, Huawei HiCar support, gesture controls, and connected-car technology.

To ensure safety, it features six airbags to ensure safety in case of collision; ABS with EBD helps in smooth braking by preventing wheel locking during sudden braking and distributing braking force among all wheels; hill-start assist; ISOFIX child-seat anchors to safely mount the child seat; a rear parking camera and parking assist system help in parking conveniently; and TPMS alerts when the tire pressure is low.
It comes with a 1,499 cc 1.5-liter naturally aspirated inline 4-cylinder petrol engine, whose power output is 88 kW (120 hp) and peak torque is 150 Nm. It is offered with two transmission options that are 5-speed manual and simulated 8-speed CVT. Features three modes, which are Eco, Normal, and Sport, with a front-wheel drive configuration.
Its top speed goes up to 175 km, and acceleration timing is 8 seconds. The fuel efficiency is 6.3 liters per 100 km on the China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle condition, with the tank of 50 liters, 739.7 km. The real-world mileage is expected to be 8 liters per 100 km, and the given range may be up to 625 km.
