Updated Lynk & Co 02 Debut Confirmed for Q3 2026 With LiDAR and Smarter ADAS

Geely’s subsidiary Lynk & Co is all set to introduce the updated Lynk & Co 02 in the domestic market in the third quarter of 2026; Lynk & Co Sales Executive Vice President Zhou Xin himself has confirmed it by sharing details on his Weibo account. Notably, it will make its debut in China with the name Lynk & Co 20; its predecessor was introduced back in December 2024 with the Lynk & Co Z20 name. The updated version will help the carmaker to strengthen the portfolio and increase sales.

This EV will make its debut with revised front and rear bumpers with a sharper and sculpted design for better aerodynamics and improved high-speed stability and a roof-mounted LIDAR sensor, a direct hint that it features ADAS, which, however, they are yet to reveal has a G-ASD G-Pilot H5 or H7 assisted driving system. Notably, the H5 features dual Nvidia Drive Orin chips with 508 TOPS computing power, but the H7 gets one Nvidia Thor AGX processor with a computing power of 700 TOPS.

Many reports suggest that this electric car will feature the G-ASD G-Pilot H7 assisted driving system, as it supports navigation autopilot for both city driving and highway cruising. Notably, besides the changes in the bumper, the overall exterior remains the same. Upfront, it still gets a Y-shaped LED daylight running light and a slim headlamp just below the DRLs that is connected with black trim at the center. The front end also features lower air intakes, side air curtains, and a closed-off grille.

On the sides, it features blackout pillars and front-door-integrated outside rear-view mirrors. Other highlights for the in-profile view are flush-type door handles to reduce drag, flared wheel arches to add aesthetics, and large pie-shaped alloy wheels for bold road presence. The rear gets a full-width LED taillight on the tailgate with Lynk & Co lettering for branding, a roof-integrated spoiler above the windshield to ensure better airflow, and a side reflector just below the tailgate with black trim.

Dimensionally, the upcoming electric vehicle is 4,495 mm longer with a 2,755 mm wheelbase, 1,573 mm wider, and 2,755 mm taller. Compared to its main rival in China, the Zeekr X, its distance between wheelbases is 5 mm longer, giving better legroom. The carmaker will introduce a seating capacity of 5 people with a 2-3 layout; it has a boot space of 450 liters, which can be expanded up to 1,410 liters.
