The Leapmotor B10 EREV, an extended-range electric crossover, has finally made its debut in North America. Leapmotor, a Chinese new energy vehicle manufacturer that is backed by Stellantis, has launched this model in Mexico with the price of 575,000 Mexican pesos, which translates to ₹31.40 lakh.
They already have started the delivery of the model from the 28 stores across the country, out of which 6 are located in Mexico City. The owner of the Leapmotor B10 EREV in Mexico is all set to get a four-year vehicle warranty and an eight-year battery warranty.
They have introduced this model in a single variant that is Ultra Hibrido Design; it is available with seven different exterior color options that are

- Electric White
Two shades for the interior are available; they are dark and light. The length, width, and height are 4,530 mm, 1,885 mm, and 1,655 mm, respectively. The wheelbase is 2,735 mm, and ground clearance is 170 mm. Its curb weight is 1,785 kg.
This model comes with a seating capacity of 5 people in a 2-3 layout with a boot space of 334 liters, which makes carrying small luggage convenient. This car is built on LEAP 3.5 architecture, whose front and rear suspension are MacPherson strut and multi-link independent, respectively.

It also features electric power steering. Braking for the front wheels is managed by a ventilated disc, but for the rear, it is done by a disc. Also have an electronic parking brake with an auto-hold function. Under the hood, it gets a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol-powered internal combustion engine that acts as a generator to power the battery pack when it is depleted.
The rear axle features a permanent magnet synchronous motor with single-speed automatic transmission, making it a rear-wheel-drive vehicle. The electric motor generates the maximum power of 215 hp and peak torque of 320 Nm. Under the floor, it has an 18.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that gives the NEDC range of 98 km.
It supports a DC charger up to 46 kW, which takes only 19 minutes for 30 to 80 percent charging. Features a fuel tank of 50 liters, which helps it run up to 892 km when the battery pack is depleted. Notably, the combined range, when the battery pack is fully charged and the fuel tank is also full, can run up to 990 km on NEDC conditions.
To accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h takes 7.6 seconds, and the top speed is 170 km/h. Its energy consumption is 16.6 kWh per 100 km, and it also supports AC chargers up to 6.6 kWh, which takes 1 hour 45 minutes for 30 to 80 percent charging.
This car’s seat features leatherette upholstery, and both front seats are electrically adjustable, heated, and ventilated. Inside, it gets a multi-function steering wheel under which there’s an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster that shows driving data.

At the center of the dashboard, it gets a 14.6-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system, which supports wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth for video and audio streaming. It features a voice assistant, OTA (over-the-air) software updates, a navigation system, and connected car technology.
Other notable features are two wireless phone charging pads, multiple USB charging ports, ambient interior lighting, a panoramic sunroof, keyless entry and push-button start, seven airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, a traction control system, front and rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree surround-view camera.
