The 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed sees the unveiling of two pure-electric concept cars from the British automobile manufacturer MG Motors, owned by SAIC Motor. These two electric vehicle concepts are ‘MG GO!’ and ‘MG Cyber’. In terms of look, both are stunning. Notably, MG’s Advanced Design Centre in London under Carl Gotham has designed the former one, but the latter is a collaborative design project for which MG’s global design team has also worked with Carl under the leadership of Jozef Kaban, MG global design vice president.
The MG GO! The concept is a B-segment hatchback, and the MG Cyber concept is a performance-focused D-segment sport utility vehicle. Reportedly, the production for the hatchback will begin in 2027 with an initial launch in the European market, and the date for the SUV is still pending. Some reports suggest that the carmaker may introduce it in European countries in 2028. Notably, the production name of either of them isn’t revealed. Both these models are set to strengthen the EV portfolio of the company in Europe.
MG GO! Concept Design

The MG GO! concept has the MG logo just below the hood, round-shaped headlight housing with squared LED headlamp and two vertical daylight running lights, a sculpted front bumper with a large air intake, a low-slung hatchback silhouette, flared wheel arches, an eight-spoke steering wheel, and a flush-type door handle for the front and a C-pillar-integrated door handle for the rear.
Other highlights from the exterior are a front-door-mounted slim horizontal outside rear-view mirror, a blackout pillar to give a floating roof effect, a side step to ease ingress and egress, a roof-mounted spoiler above the rear windscreen, an MG logo at the centre of the tailgate for branding, and black rear bumper cladding with a pronounced rear diffuser.

MG Cyber Concept Design

The MG Cyber concept features the MG logo on the sculpted and muscular bonnet, a full-width daylight running light connected with the sharp and angular LED clusters integrated directly into the upper hood line, side air curtains connected with the full-width black trim, a highly aggressive and aerodynamic front split-lip-style bumper, black wheel arch cladding, and large alloy wheels.
The exterior also has an A-pillar-integrated slim outside rear-view camera, flush-type handles for both doors, black-outed pillars, a roof-integrated spoiler, a braking light on the upper section of the rear windscreen, an illuminated MG logo at the centre of the tailgate, a full-width taillight, LED taillamps, two units below the taillights at the edges, ‘Cyber’ lettering at the centre, and a sculpted rear bumper with the diffuser.

Specs & Features
Notably, MG Motors hasn’t confirmed any specifications and features. The MG GO! is expected to make its debut with a permanent magnet synchronous motor on the front axle, featuring a front-wheel-drive drivetrain, and the MG Cyber concept may also get a PMSM on the rear axle, featuring a rear-wheel-drive drivetrain. It is certain that the electric motor of each will be mated with the single-speed automatic transmission.
They will reveal the battery pack and other details with the launch of the vehicle. The hatchback may get a lithium-ion battery pack under 60 kWh, giving a WLTP range of 400 km, and the sport utility vehicle with a large one around 80 kWh runs up to 500 km under the WLTP conditions. Electrical architecture details are also pending; the MG GO! concept and MG Cyber concept may make their debut with 400-volt and 800-volt electrical architecture, respectively.
Dimensions of both concepts are still pending. The former one is expected to come with a length under 4 metres with a wheelbase of around 2.6 metres and the latter around 4.9 metres, whose distance between the axles is anticipated to be around 3.1 metres. The carmaker will reveal the actual dimensions at the launch event with other details such as price, power output, peak torque, acceleration timing, top speed and time, etc.
