Li Auto, the Chinese automobile manufacturer, launched the 2026 Li L6, a five-seat premium extended-range electric sport utility vehicle, on July 16, 2026, in a single variant, Ultra, with the price of 249,800 yuan, which translates to 35.44 lakh rupees. Its main rivals in the Chinese market are the AITO M7, the Tesla Model Y, and the Nio ES6.
As an EREV, it gets a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol-powered internal combustion engine under the hood that generates power to provide electricity to the motor and battery pack. Its power output is 113 kW (152 hp). Get a two-electric-motor induction motor on the front axle and a permanent magnet synchronous motor on the rear axle with a single-speed automatic transmission, featuring an all-wheel-drive drivetrain.
The combined power output is 300 kW (402 hp), and peak torque is 529 Nm, whose 0 to 100 km/h acceleration timing is 5.4 seconds, and top speed is 180 km/h. Equipped with a 51 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, whose pure-electric CLTC range is 300 km, the combined range is 1250 km under the same conditions. Support DC chargers up to 274.4 kW, which take 12 minutes for 20 to 80 percent charging.
The length, width, and height of the 2026 Li L6 are 4,935 mm, 1,960 mm, and 1,735 mm. Its wheelbase is 2,920 mm, and ground clearance is 180 mm. Available with 5-person seating capacity in 2-3 layouts. It has a boot space of 491 liters that helps in carrying small luggage, which is expandable up to 1,923 liters that enables carrying of big luggage conventionally.
The old model was available for sale in two variants: Pro and Max, whose prices are 249,800 yuan and 279,800 yuan, respectively. For clarity, the battery pack of the new one has increased by 14.2 kWh, with an 88 km CLTC range. Even charging speed has increased; now it takes less than 8 minutes for the 10 to 80 percent charge with maximum output.
Its front and rear suspension are double wishbone independent and five-link independent, respectively, with the Continuous Damping Control (CDC) suspension system. All wheels get ventilated disc brakes and an electronic parking brake with auto hold for better practicality.
Inside, it has a four-spoke steering wheel with physical buttons for controls. Instead of a digital instrument cluster, it has an augmented reality head-up display projecting all driving data. The dashboard has a 29-inch 6K integrated panoramic display, which includes an infotainment system at the center and an entertainment screen before the co-passenger seat.
The screen runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8797 cockpit chip. It has a roof-mounted optional 21-inch 4K rear entertainment display for rear-seating passengers. Both front seats are zero-gravity to enhance premiumness; they are also ventilated, heated, and support massage functions.
All seats have nappa leather upholstery, and even rear seats feature heating and ventilation. The center of the dashboard has a wireless phone charging pad for phone charging convenience. Other features are a panoramic glass sunroof to add premiumness and a 19-speaker premium audio system with Dolby Atmos to enhance the audio experience inside the cabin.
It comes with standard tri-zone automatic climate control, which sets a different temperature for the driver, co-passenger, and rear seating passengers; ambient interior lighting enhances cabin aesthetic; and multiple USB charging ports help in phone charging for all occupants by plugging in.
The 8.8-liter cooling refrigerator is available inside the cabin as an option, with a temperature between -7°C, maximum cooling, and 50°C, maximum heating. It helps in keeping the drinks and beverages depending on weather conditions.
