After getting unveiled back in May 2025, the Toyota bZ Woodland went on sale in North America in early 2026 as a 2026 year model with the starting price of US$45,300 without excluding destination and handling charges, and now, on August 5, 2026, the carmaker has introduced the 2027 year model with the price of US$45,380, just US$80 up from the 2026 year model.
They have introduced the 2027 year model of the Toyota bZ4X Woodland in two variants: the standard one is available with the price of US$45,380, but the Premium trim costs US$47,480, US$2,100 more than the standard one. Its main rivals in the United States market are the Subaru Trailseeker, Hyundai Ioniq 5 XRT, Kia EV9, Honda Prologue AWD, Chevrolet Blazer EV AWD, and Volkswagen ID.4 AWD.
Toyota, the Japanese automobile manufacturer, is yet to disclose what changes they have made in the 2027 model. We are anticipating possible changes to option packages and/or minor equipment availability updates. It still has two electric motors, one on each axle, with a 74.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and featuring an all-wheel-drive drivetrain.
Each electric motor of the 2027 Toyota bZ4X Woodland delivers the maximum power of 167 kW (224 hp) and peak torque of 365 Nm (269 lb-ft); the combined power output is 280 kW (375 hp). Its dash to 60 mph (97 km/h) acceleration timing is 4.7 seconds, and maximum speed is 118 mph (190 km/h).
When the battery pack is fully charged, it gives the EPA-certified range of 281 miles (452 km) with all-season tires and 260 miles (418 km) with optional all-terrain tires, 21 miles (34 km) less than the standard. Support DC chargers up to 150 kW, which take 30 minutes for 10-80% charging. With an on-board AC charger, it takes 9.5 hours for full charging.
Outside, it has a slim, full-width LED daylight running light just below the bonnet; the main LED headlamps are placed on the corners. The body-colored enclosed grille ensures better aerodynamics and enhances the energy efficiency. The rugged wheel arch cladding, roof-mounted rails, pull-type door handles, and A-pillar-mounted ORVMs are clearly visible from the sides.
Its rear has a full-width LED taillight, a rugged bumper with an integrated horizontal-shaped reflector, a roof-mounted shark-fin antenna, and a roof-integrated spoiler above the windshield housing a braking light. Its dimensions in terms of length, width, and height are 4,830 mm, 1,860 mm, and 1,620 mm, respectively. The wheelbase is 2,850 mm, and ground clearance is 213 mm.
Offered with a seating capacity of 5 people with a boot space of 30.3 cu ft (858 liters) behind the second row, which is expandable up to 74.3 cu ft (2,104 liters). The cabin gets a 14-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen infotainment system at the center of the dashboard, which is integrated with up to a nine-speaker JBL premium audio system in the premium variant.
The infotainment screen supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which support audio streaming from apps such as Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, or Amazon Music, and other usages. Before the driving seat, it has a two-spoke steering wheel with physical buttons for control and the Toyota logo at the center. Behind the steering wheel, it has a 7-inch digital instrument cluster.
The center console has two wireless phone charging pads to help phone charging convenience for both driver and co-passenger. Also features a USB charging port in the front and second row for the occupants to charge the phone by plugging it in. The standard variant features heated front and rear seats; the ventilated seats are available in the premium variant.
All seats feature SofTex-trimmed upholstery. The premium variant also has a power-adjustable driver’s seat with a memory function, which enhances seating practicality; a panoramic fixed glass roof to add premiumness; and a 360-degree panoramic view monitor to get the bird’s-eye view. 64-color customizable ambient interior lighting and a digital key are available in both variants.
