Jetta, a sub-brand from the Chinese automobile manufacturer FAW’s and German carmaker Volkswagen’s joint venture FAW-Volkswagen, has finally revealed the interior of the Jetta M6, a pure-electric five-seater sedan, after its appearance in the China MIIT catalogue release in July 2026.
The image they have shared online shows the front and second row of this upcoming electrified sedan, revealing what it offers. Before the driving seat, it has a two-spoke, double-toned steering wheel with physical buttons for controls and settings, under which there’s a slim digital instrument cluster showing all the driving data.
At the centre of the dashboard, it features a horizontally orientated floating touchscreen infotainment system which is anticipated to support wireless smartphone connectivity, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity and over-the-air software updates. It may be integrated with a multiple-speaker premium sound system.
Features hidden ambient lighting on the lower section of the dashboard, to enhance the nighttime driving mode. Below the infotainment system, it has air conditioning vents to keep the occupants warm in winter and cool in winter. The centre console has two wireless phone charging pads and two cup holders to enhance practicality.
In the first row, the ceiling is mounted inside the rear-view mirror, which gives a clear view of the traffic behind. In alignment with the IRVM, it features a few physical buttons that likely control the panoramic sunroof. It does have a foldable sun visor which improves driving safety by blocking blinding sunlight and glare for drivers and prevents eye strain for the co-passenger.
The image shows the second row revealing that the front seats are fully foldable, which creates a bed with the second-row seats. Other things that we get to know about the second image are that it has a large panoramic sunroof which ends over the head of the second-row passenger and three seats with separate headrests for each.

The cargo space area is still undisclosed, but we are expecting it to provide ample space to carry the luggage conventionally. These two images from the Jetta show that the Jetta M6 is quite spacious and set to provide ample legroom, headroom, and shoulder room for rear-seating passengers.
The double-toned cabin with a panoramic sunroof adds premiumness and enhances aesthetics. Smart features like wireless phone charging add convenience for occupants with phones charging. Its launch will reveal all the features which this upcoming electric sedan has.

To ensure better comfort for all occupants, it is anticipated that they will get ventilated and heated front seats, which enhances comfort for occupants. The back portion of the centre console isn’t visible in either of the two images; it is certain to have air conditioning vents for the second and also a USB charging port.
After its appearance on the MIIT filing, they already have released the official exterior images on August 3, 2026, which show it has integrated LED headlights with slim headlamps and L-shaped daylight running lights, A-pillar-mounted ORVMs with integrated blinkers, semi-hidden flush-type door handles, double-toned alloy wheels, and much more.
The length is 4,806 mm, width is 1,868 mm to 1,895 mm depending on trim, and height is 1,500 mm. Its wheelbase measures 2,820 mm. The kerb weight ranges from 1,557 kg to 1,628 kg depending on the battery pack use. Sits on 17-inch alloy wheels with 215/55 tyres and 18-inch ones with 215/50 tyres.
Set to make its debut with a single-motor front-wheel-drive drivetrain, whose power output is 113 kW (152 hp) and 145 kW (194 hp). The former one has a top speed of 166 km/h (103 mph) and 172 km/h (107 mph), respectively. The battery pack, CLTC range, and other details are still pending; they will reveal them with the launch.
