Porsche Cayenne Electric Coming to India on September 30: Here’s What to Expect

Porsche India, the Indian subsidiary of Porsche AG (Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG), is all set to debut the Porsche Cayenne Electric on September 30, 2026. Notably, the model made its global debut back on November 19, 2025, and then the Indian launch and booking started just a few days after that. They are yet to start the delivery of the model for the Indian market.

The Indian debut is anticipated to be a physical showcase of the model, where they may announce delivery-related details. The report suggests that the delivery will begin in the second half of 2026. Notably, the price is already announced; it is ₹1.77 crore for the standard one and ₹2.27 crore for the Turbo version. Notably, the standard is named the Cayenne Electric and the turbo as the Cayenne Turbo Electric.

Exterior and dimensions.

Upfront, it has an integrated LED headlight setup. The main headlamps are surrounded by four slim horizontal daylight running lights. Features a closed-off front grille. The Porsche logo is present on the bonnet to reflect branding. Its bumper has horizontal air intakes and also features vertically oriented side curtains. There’s also a frunk of 90 litres.

Its sides have round black wheel arch cladding and up to 22-inch double-toned cladding. Other details on its sides are mechanical door handles to enhance practicality, lower body cladding, blackout pillars, and double-toned front-door-mounted outside rear-view mirrors that also integrate the side indicator.

At the back, there is a spoiler on the roof with a slim braking light. Features a large rear windscreen. Other details that are clearly visible on its exterior are the PORSCHE letters and the full-width taillamp. Its bumper has a horizontally oriented taillamp. Dimensionally, it is 4,985 mm longer, 1,980 mm wider, and 1,674 mm taller. The wheelbase is 1,674 mm.

Seating, boot space, and interior features.

The Porsche Cayenne Electric is an electric SUV with a 2-3 seating capacity. The cargo capacity is 781 liters that is expandable up to 1,588 liters by folding the second-row seat. The rear seats are foldable. The driver’s and co-passenger’s seats are 8-way electrically adjustable with 18-way adjustment to enhance the seating practicality.

Get a round-shape three-spoke steering wheel before the driving seat, under which there’s a digital instrument cluster showing all driving data. Its dashboard that meets with the center console has a 14.5-inch curved central touchscreen that is integrated with a 14-speaker Bose sound system to ensure an immersive audio experience.

It has 4-zone automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a wireless phone charging pad. A few features are also available as options; by paying an additional cost, the owner may also get an augmented-reality head-up display, a 14.9-inch passenger display, and a 20-speaker Harman Kardon audio system instead of a 14-speaker system.

Motor setup, battery pack, charging, and other specifications.

The standard and turbo, both variants, get two electric motors, one on each axle, with single-speed automatic transmissions. The power output for the standard one is 300 kW (408 PS), and the turbo delivers 630 kW (857 PS). With the launch, which is available with both trims, the former one delivers 325 kW (442 PS) power, and the latter puts out 850 kW (1,156 PS) power and 1,500 Nm torque.

Electrical architecture for both is 800 volts with a 113 kWh gross capacity battery pack, giving a range of 642 km and 623 km for standard and turbo, respectively. They support DC chargers up to 390 kW, which take just 16 minutes for 10 to 80 percent charging. The acceleration timing for 0 to 100 km/h is 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 230 km/h for the standard version and 2.5 seconds with a maximum speed of 260 km/h for the Turbo version.
