All-New IM LS6 Pre-Sale Starts September 10: Features, Timeline and Sales

The all-new IM LS6, a large five-seat SUV, pre-sale is all set to begin on September 10, 2026, for the Chinese market. The confirmation regarding it comes from IM Motors itself; they are all set to start taking preorders via holding an event. This all-new version of this vehicle is set to be next-generation.

In the Chinese market, this car has been available for sale since October 12, 2023. Since then, it has already received two updates, first on September 26, 2024, and second on September 10, 2025, and now it is all set to get next-generation. The presale may begin with offers that are likely to have a lot for buyers.

The presale of the all-new IM LS6 will be a great opportunity for the buyers to save a good amount on the final purchase price. The preorder will start with the tentative price for a limited time, probably two to three weeks. The market launch of the model will take place shortly after the pre-order deadline.

As the carmaker is going to hold an event for the presale of this upcoming car, it is certain they will also be steering social profiles for the individuals who want to be part of it but can’t attend the event for any reason.

The upcoming next-generation model of this vehicle gets a fully steer-by-wire chassis to make it easier to drive, improves its high-speed stability, and dramatically improves turning ability; and it has a new-generation NEO powertrain architecture that upgrades the electric drive system, thermal management, electrical/electronic architecture, and vehicle software.

Other features that this new-gen version has are the IM Claw AI agent that can do complex things such as multi-stop journey planning, picking up people at multiple locations, and adding stops along the route; and a new “Super First Class” cabin to provide aviation-inspired philosophy and positions for seating.

The recently published image shows that it has a sleek fastback-style SUV profile; Falcon Smart Lighting 2.0 design; dual five-spoke wheels enhancing road presence; frameless doors adding premiumness; hidden door handles reducing aerodynamic drag; and roof-mounted forward-facing LiDAR, apparently larger than the outgoing.

The dimensions for this upcoming car are still pending, but reports suggest it to be quite similar to the outgoing model, which measures 4,937 mm in length, 1,988 mm in width, and 1,673 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,960 mm.

The roof-mounted LiDAR unit confirms that it will retain advanced driver-assistance systems, intelligent navigation, automated parking, lane assistance, obstacle detection, and AI-assisted vehicle control, with improvement, as the LiDAR size is a little bigger than the current one.

Its powertrain details are still pending. The existing model is available with both battery electric and extended range electric powertrains; the options of both are anticipated for the upcoming one but with the improvement and upgrades.
