On September 4, 2026, Changan Automobile, the Chinese carmaker, officially started the pre-sale for the Changan Nevo Q06, a new-energy sport utility vehicle, at the 2026 Changan SDA Pilot Technology Conference. They have started the pre-sale for both models, the extended-range electric vehicle and the battery electric vehicle, with the starting price of 147,900 yaun (21,800 USD).
A total of eight variants are available for pre-order; the first six are available as pure electric, and the last two are extended-range electric, whose prices in yen and equivalent USD are:

- 602 Zhixiang Pro: 159,900 yuan (23,500 USD)
- 602 Zhixiang Ultra: 171,900 yuan (25,300 USD)

The date for market launch is still pending. Reports suggest that the Changan will do so in September 2026, and delivery will begin in October 2026.
Design and dimensions.
At the front end, it has a full-width LED daylight running light below the black trim with the Changan logo at the center; the main headlamps are placed above the DRL strip. Features integrated bumper air intakes to keep the electronic components beneath the floor cool and pentagonal air curtains.
The side has Y-spoke alloy wheels, which are bracketed by the round wheel arch cladding. Also features low body cladding. Other details highlighted from its in-profile view are front door-mounted double-toned ORVMs integrating side indicators and semi-hidden door handles.
It has a rear with a full-width LED taillight with the Changan logo at the center, mirroring the front-end lighting profile; a diffuser-style bumper with a skid plate; and a roof-integrated spoiler. The dimensions are

Features and technology.
It features the SDA Pilot intelligent driving system that works with the LiDAR sensors and advanced computing hardware and features urban and highway navigation assistance, intelligent parking assistance, and active safety functions. The cabin gets a three-spoke D-shaped steering wheel, a slim digital instrument cluster, a large infotainment system, and a wireless phone charging pad.
The cockpit is powered by Dual TC399 chips and the Xiao’an AI agent. It also has a head-up display that projects driving information before the driver’s eye on the windscreen. For entertainment, rear seating passengers have a 15.6-inch 2.5K screen mounted on the ceiling. All seats are ventilated, heated, and have massage functions to ensure premium comfort for all occupants, not just the driver and co-passenger.
Features that further enhance the premiumness of the cabin are a 9.5-liter dual-layer cooling and heating refrigerator, a zero-gravity-style front passenger seat, 145-degree electrically adjustable rear seat backrests, rear independent air-conditioning controls, a folding table for rear passengers, and a dual-section panoramic roof.
Powertrain and performance.
Three powertrain options are available for battery electric vehicles: a single motor 225 kW (302 hp) and 245 kW (329 hp), and a double motor 330 kW (443 hp) with 0 to 100 kmph acceleration under 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 240 kmph. Four battery packs are 63.18 kWh, 66.02 kWh, 72.54 kWh, and 80.02 kWh, giving the range from 570 km to 700 km on the CLTC condition.
The extended-range electric vehicle version has a 72 kW (98 hp) 1.5-liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol-powered internal combustion engine and two electric motors that deliver the 270 kW (362 hp) power. The sprinting timing for 0 to 100 kmph is 5.8 seconds, and they reach a maximum speed of 220 kmph. The EV-mode CLTC range is 200 km, and the combined range is 1,600 km.
