AITO M6 Max+ Sits Between M5 and M7, Delivery Confirmed

AITO, the smart EV brand set up with the partnership between Seres Group and Huawei, has officially confirmed that they will start delivery for the recently launched all-electric M6. On June 16, 2026, they introduced the five-door SUV in two variants that are Max and Max+.

The first variant, Max, is available for sale with the price ranging from 229,800 yuan (31.98 lakh) and the second, Max+, with 249,800 yuan (₹34.77 lakh). They have positioned it between the M5 and M7 in the EV portfolio and are set to give tough competition to the Tesla Model Y, Li Auto L6, XPeng G6 and Xiaomi YU7.

Both variants are equipped with an 81 kWh lithium-ion battery pack from SVOLT Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Under the floor, the China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle certified range for the Max is 602 kilometres, and for the Max+, it is 630 kilometres. Supports a DC charger up to 290 kW, which takes 30-80% for the full charge.

A permanent magnet synchronous motor is mated with the one-speed automatic gearbox on the rear axle. Since the electric motor is on the back end, it features an RWD drivetrain. The PMSM generates the maximum power of 227 kW and peak torque of 320 Nm. It takes 7 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h, and the top speed goes up to 200 km/h.

Both variants are equipped with the Huawei Qiankun ADS. Enhanced, the first one uses co-path in-cabin LiDAR, cameras with a radar perception system, and Huawei’s intelligent driving computer as hardware, and the second gets 896-line dual-path imaging-grade LiDAR, a high-resolution camera system, millimetre-wave radars, and ultrasonic sensors.

They both come with Navigation Cruise Assist for city driving and highway cruising and smart parking. The Hit the Max+ variant is more capable of smart city driving and parking if the variant has advanced units. 

Inside, it gets an electronically adjustable three-spoke steering wheel, under which there’s a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster showing all the driving data. It also gets a head-up display which projects the driving details on the windscreen. 

The centre of dashboard is equipped with 15.6-inch 2K central touchscreen infotainment system with 26-speaker 7.1.4 surround Huawei Sound system.

The infotainment system Huawei phone ecosystem integration with multi-device connection, seamless app transfer between phone and car, Bluetooth connectivity, Wi-Fi and internet-connected services and OTA (over-the-air) software updates. The entire cockpit runs on the HarmonyOS.

The centre features two wireless phone charging pads for the convenience of the driver and co-passenger, and even two cup holders are visible for ease. All seats have premium leather upholstery, and the front seats feature heating, ventilation and massage, and they are also electrically adjustable. 

Other notable features inside the cabin are a panoramic sunroof, making the cabin airy and spacious; multi-colour ambient lighting that enhances the mood for nighttime driving; an air purification system for fresh air inside the cabin; a smart fragrance system to make the fresh air feel fresh; and multi-zone climate control to help in setting the temperature separately for the driver, co-passenger and rear occupants.

The length, width and height are 4960 mm, 1985 mm and 1736 mm. Features a seating capacity of five people, two in the first row and three in the second; thanks to a wheelbase of 2950 mm, each individual gets ample legroom to sit comfortably inside the cabin. 

Outside, it gets a closed-off grill, elongated LED headlamps, a lower air intake, semi-hidden flush-type door handles, black alloy wheels, blacked-out A, B and C pillars, a sloping roofline, full-width connected LED taillights, an integrated roof spoiler, a higher-mounted braking light, and black bumper cladding.
