Honda, the Japanese automaker, has officially confirmed that they will start accepting orders for the Honda Super-N, an all-electric, ultra-compact city car, in the United Kingdom with the price of £18,995 (₹23.75 lakh). As of now, no date is confirmed for its launch and delivery. Reportedly, they are expected to do so in the third quarter of 2026. Let’s have a closer look at this pure-electric hatchback.
Starting with an electric motor setup and battery pack. Get an electric motor under the hood that is mated with a single-speed automatic transmission; it is mounted on the front axle. Since the e-motor is placed on the front end, it features a front-wheel drive drivetrain. Reportedly, the e-motor generates the power of 64 PS (47 kW), but with the ‘BOOST’ mode, it does 95 PS (70 kW).
The peak torque is 162 Nm. This e-hatchback takes 13.5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h, but with the ‘BOOST’ mode, the sprint time is reduced by 3.5 seconds, which means, in certain conditions, it only takes 10 seconds. The maximum speed it can reach is 135 km/h, an interesting figure for a minicar.
Equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack of 29.6 kWh, when it is fully charged, the car gives a range of 206 km in the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure cycle. Interestingly, its city driving range is 320 km. Support DC chargers up to 50 kW; with the maximum output, it can charge the EV from 10% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
Shifting focus to suspension and braking. Built on N-Series kei-car architecture, it gets MacPherson struts as front and torsion beams as rear suspension. The front one is capable of good steering precision and ride comfort, and the rear one helps with the better handling. It also gets EPS, which features quick steering response and works efficiently with different driving modes.

As the launch is still pending, they are yet to reveal details regarding the braking. But reports suggest that the front wheel may get ventilated discs, and the rear is expected to feature drums. The difference between the disc and the drum is that the former one is stronger with better heat absorption, and the latter is ideal for rear braking in the segment.
Now, examining the outdoor aesthetics. Upfront it features a circle-shaped LED daylight running light, under which there are two LED projectors in a rectangular shape: one is a low beam and another is a high beam. Other notable features on the front end are a closed-off grill with a Honda logo and a bumper-integrated horizontal trapezoidal air intake.
In profile, it gets eight-spoke 16-inch alloy wheels with 165/65 tires, mechanical door handles, flared wheel arches, and blacked-out ORVMs with integrated side indicators; an rear boasts a roof-mounted shark-fin antenna, integrated spoilers, rectangular LED taillights, Honda lettering on the tailgate, a large windshield, and a clean bumper. Notably, they are yet to reveal its dimensions.
Lastly, take a look inside the cabin. It comes with a seating capacity of four people in a layout of 2-2. The first row gets two separate seats, one for the driver and another for the co-passenger, and the second-row feature bench-type two seats, can accommodate two adults conventionally with ample legroom, headroom, and shoulder room. Behind the second row, it gets a boot space of 162 liters that can be expanded up to 967 liters.

Get a two-spoke steering wheel with physical buttons for controls, under which there’s a digital instrument cluster showing all the driving data. In the center of the dashboard, it features a 9-inch Honda CONNECT touchscreen infotainment system that features Google Maps integration and Google built-in services.
The infotainment screen is integrated with an eight-speaker BOSE premium audio system, supporting wireless connectivity via Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth for video and audio streaming. Also equipped with Honda SENSING, an advanced driving assistant system that features many smart features that make driving stress-free.
