Tata Motors is planning to launch the Sierra EV in mid-2026, and the Avinya EV and Safari EV towards the end of the year; however, this has not yet been officially announced by the company.

Tata Sierra EV

According to media reports, this vehicle is set to launch with both a single-motor Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) configuration and a dual-motor All-Wheel Drive (AWD) configuration. The price difference between the AWD and RWD variants is expected to be approximately ₹6 lakh to ₹7 lakh.

It is anticipated that the driving range will be in the vicinity of 450 to 500 kilometres on a full charge; furthermore, fast-charging capability will be available, allowing the vehicle to charge from 20% to 80% in approximately half an hour.

Tata Avinya EV

The Avinya EV is the most premium SUV set to be launched by Tata Motors, featuring a highly futuristic design that makes it instantly recognisable, even amidst city traffic. While no details regarding its pricing are currently available in the media, it is expected to start with an ex-showroom price of ₹45 lakh.

It features a hybrid design that combines elements of an SUV, an MPV, and a hatchback. It is expected to launch in the Indian market equipped with a 95 kW battery, offering an estimated range of 550 kilometres. While there has been no official confirmation, media reports suggest that the vehicle will also be available with a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive option.

It is set to be based on the Gen-3 Pure EV architecture, featuring a long wheelbase and ample ground clearance, which will provide better stability at high speed. It will be equipped with a premium infotainment system and advanced safety features to prevent unfortunate incidents such as accidents.

Tata Safari EV

The Safari EV is a family SUV set to be launched by Tata Motors, featuring a seating capacity of 6 to 7 passengers. It is expected to launch with a 60 kWh battery pack, offering a driving range of approximately 480 kilometres on a full charge.

While official details regarding pricing have not yet been confirmed, it is anticipated that the ex-showroom price will start at ₹32 lakh. Furthermore, the vehicle is expected to be offered with both RWD and AWD drivetrain options.

As for the features, it is set to include a large infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, a spacious cabin with a premium and soft material, a premium sound system, and advanced safety features such as cameras, Level 2 ADAS, and more.
