The Guangzhou Automobile Group started the pre-sale on May 17, 2026, for the GAC Hyper S600 in four variants for the domestic market; two among them are electric vehicles: the 660 Max and 660 Max+ with the limited-time price of ¥188,900 (₹21.8 lakh) and ¥198,900 (₹22.9 lakh), and two are extended-range electric vehicles: the 230 Max and 215 AWD Ultra+ come with the privilege cost of ¥188,900 (₹21.8 lakh) and ¥208,900 (₹24.1 lakh).
Notably, after the expiry of the limited-time offer, the price for each variant will increase by ¥21,000 (₹2.45 lakh). The Chinese automaker says that it is 5,015 mm longer, 1,933 mm wider and 1,700 mm taller. Its wheelbase is 2,936 mm; compared to the AITO M7, it is 116 mm shorter but 69 mm longer than the Li Auto L8 and 62 mm longer than the XPeng G9. These three are the vehicles with which the GAC Hyper S600 will compete following the launch.
Reportedly, the vehicle comes with seven exterior colour options that include Jubilee Red, Night Shadow Black, Ice Rock Grey, Agate Purple, Polar White, Liquid Titanium Silver, and Deep Sea Green. The official image of the car that is made public by the automaker reveals all about its exterior. It gets a modern split headlight setup; DRLs and turn signals are placed above and below the same headlights with low and high beams installed.

It has a smooth nose with a lower air intake for cooling. In profile, it features flush-type handles for entry and exit doors to reduce drag and improve efficiency, body-coloured outside rear-view mirrors for a premium touch, and large fancy aero-optimised alloy wheels giving bold road presence. At the rear, it features a full-width taillight with 836 LEDs which enables custom graphics showing and a roof-integrated spoiler that ensures stability at high speed.
Comes with the seating capacity of 5 people in a layout of 2-3, features three interior colour options, including Danxia Dawn, Ebony Flow, and Dune Gleam. Behind the second row, there’s a boot space that is expandable up to 1292 litres. All seats are made up of Nappa leather; all come with the ventilation, heating and massage functions.
The driver’s seat is powered with the memory function, and the front passenger seat is named the Queen Seat that features zero-gravity mode, height adjustment, and extended reclining; notably, it has an 18-point massage function. The second-row seats have 750 mm legroom and 1,255 mm cabin headroom to ensure better comfort; they support reclining up to 143 degrees.
Its cabin is equipped with a 17.3-inch 3K floating central touchscreen as an infotainment system at the centre of the dashboard and a 27-inch W-HUD that displays all the primary driving data on the windscreen to ensure that one drives safely by staying focused on the road; they both are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P cockpit chip. It has ADiGO 6.0 Intelligent Cockpit, which features an AI voice assistant, smart navigation, connected services, an app ecosystem, and much more.

Other notable features are a 6.5-litre refrigerator that supports heating and cooling, a 22-speaker ADiGO sound system to ensure an immersive sound experience inside the cabin, a massive panoramic roof with a UV filter, and fold-out tray tables for eating and working. It also features an intelligent driving assistant with roof-mounted LiDAR and ADiGO GSD 3.0 that make the driving almost autonomous and stress-free.
The EV comes with a single-motor RWD drivetrain, whose power output is 250 kW (335 hp). It gets an 83.326 kWh LFP battery pack whose CLTC range is 660 km; its top speed is 183 km/h, and on the other hand, the EREV features a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine under the hood that acts as a generator. It comes with both RWD and AWD drivetrains. It gets an LFP battery that features an all-electric CLTC range of 230 km for the 230 Max variant and 215 km for the 215 AWD Ultra+ variant. The top trim’s power output is 370 kW (496 hp) with acceleration timing of 4.3 seconds.
