Haval, Chinese automobile manufacturer Great Wall Motor’s SUV-focused brand, is all set to launch the Haval 10, a plug-in hybrid electric sport utility vehicle, on August 5, 2026, for the domestic market. Notably, the launch price is all set a little lower than the pre-sale amount for the base variants. It is all set to compete with the Deepal S09, the Aito M7, and the Li L6.
The carmaker hasn’t confirmed any date for the delivery; we are expecting that they will start it shortly after the launch. The most expected date for the delivery is September 2026. There’s no update on sale price from their side; many reports are suggesting that it will cost between 199,800 yuan (₹28.23 lakh) and 234,800 yuan (₹33.18 lakh).
5- and 6-person seating layout
Haval has already confirmed that it will make its Chinese debut with two different seating layouts, which are 5 individuals in 2-3 arrangements and 6 individuals in 2-2-2. The length of the former is 5,138 mm, and the latter measures 5,299 mm. The width, height, and wheelbase are 2,050 mm, 1,970 mm, and 3,000 mm, respectively.
The boot space for the five-seater is 815 litres, which is expandable up to 1,885 litres; on the other hand, the former one has a cargo capacity of 316 litres, which can be extended to 1,056 litres. They both had a ground clearance of 220 mm and an approach angle of 24°. The departure angle is 30° and 26° for the five-seater and the six-seater.
Decent EV mode range
H10 from the Haval-based second-generation Hi4 powertrain. Under the hood, it has a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol-powered internal combustion engine and a permanent magnet synchronous motor; between them there’s a 4-speed dedicated hybrid transmission.
On the rear axle, it has a P4 electric motor. Since it comes with two electric motors, it features an electric all-wheel-drive drivetrain. The ICE’s power output is 123 kW (165 hp). Its front and rear electric motors deliver the power of 100 kW (134 hp) and 220 kW (295 hp), respectively.
The combined power output is 440 kW (590 hp), and peak torque is 722 Nm. Its acceleration timing for 0 to 100 km/h is 4.9 seconds, and the maximum speed is 190 km/h. Features a 42.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, giving the emission-free range of 176 km and 180 km in the WLTC condition, for the 5-seater and 6-seater, respectively.
When the battery pack is depleted, it gives a WLTC fuel efficiency of 6.6 litres per 100 kilometres. As it has a fuel tank of 65 litres, when the tank is full, it gives a pure-petrol range of 180 km. The combined range is 1,165 km and 1,161 km for the five-seater and six-seater, respectively, under WLTC conditions.
All ventilated disc brakes
The Haval 10 underpins GWM Global One with a unibody (monocoque) chassis whose front and rear suspension are dual-wishbone independent and multi-link independent, respectively. The top-end variant also features electromagnetic adaptive dampers, which automatically adjust the stiffness of the shock absorbers in real time to ensure a comfortable driving experience.
Sit on the 20-inch alloy wheels with 275/55; all get ventilated disc brakes for powerful braking. It also has an electronic parking brake (EPB) with auto hold for easier driving in heavy traffic and more convenient hill starts.

The launch of GWM’s Haval H10 in China will help it to strengthen its positioning against the rival in the segment. Under the banner of Haval, they are selling five plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, which are Xiaolong MAX, Xiaolong, Menglong (Raptor), Great Dog (Big Dog) Plus, and H6. The launch of the H10 will add the sixth model to the PHEV lineup.
