The Li Auto showcased the L9 Livis, a full-size luxury crossover, at the Beijing Auto Show 2026 and confirmed that its launch will take place on May 15, 2026, with the delivery starting shortly. It is already on the presale with the price of 559,800 Chinese yuan, which translates to 81,887 US dollars, making it a strong competitor to other high-end models from BYD and Geely.
Compared to its existing model, L9, the L9 Livis is quite big in size. Its length, width, and height are 2,000 mm, 1,810 mm, and 3,125 mm, respectively, which makes it 33 mm longer, 2 mm wider, and 10 mm taller. The new one’s wheelbase is 3125 mm, which is 20 mm more than the existing model.
It is available with a seating capacity of six people with a layout of two-two-two. The second row seats are captain’s chairs that come with separate armrests and headrests to enhance comfort. The L9 has a cargo of 242 liters, but the L9 Livis has a slightly bigger boot that makes it capable of carrying 2 big pieces of luggage.
Exterior & Design

The L9 Livis comes with the brand’s signature family design DNA, which focuses on clean surfaces, a wide and planted stance, and luxury and technology fusion. Up front, the vehicle gets a full-width ‘Star Ring’ LED light bar with a multi-color effect for styling. The headlights are slim with the adaptive high-beam technology for better visibility and modern appearance.
On the sides, the car features a diamond-cut character line, which runs from Pillar A to Pillar D. To enhance premium, aerodynamics, and efficiency, it gets flush-type door handles and large alloy wheels. Optionally, it is available with double-tone color options; new finishes are titanium gold and triple-layer paint.
The rear also gets a full-width LED taillight strip mirroring the front-end lighting signature and a wide and layered tailgate for simple styling and a sculpted bumper to add visual strength and protection. A LiDAR sensor is visible on the roof to show that the car comes with an advanced driving assistant system.
Interior & Features

The cabin is equipped with two 15.7-inch 3K OLED screens, one at the center for infotainment and another before the front passenger seat for entertainment. Instead of a traditional instrument cluster, it comes with a HUD (Head-Up Display) that projects all the driving data on the screen to ensure that the driver stays focused on the road.
For the rear-seat passengers, there’s a 21.4-inch 3K screen that supports both gaming and video streaming. The seats are made of nappa leather that are electronically adjustable with memory. If features eighteen point massage functions, heating, and ventilation. It also features a built-in refrigerator for heating and cooling the food and drink.
Multiple-zone climate control, advanced sound insulation, multiple-color ambient lighting, and a nineteen-speaker premium sound system are notable. To make the driving stress-free, it comes with in-house built LiDAR-based ADAS that uses dual 5nm M100 chips whose computing power is 2,560 TOPS.
Powertrain & Chassis
The L9 Livis is an extended-range electric vehicle, basically a plug-in hybrid, which comes with an engine, motor, and battery. It gets a new third-generation 1.5-liter turbocharged engine under the hood and two motors, one on the front axle and the other on the rear axle.
It comes with a battery pack of 72.7 kWh, whose only-electric CLTC range is 420 km, and the combined range with a full tank and full charge is 1500 km. The fuel efficiency is 6.4 liters for each 100 km of driving. It is based on 800-volt architecture and supports 5c charging with automated technology.
It features a drive-by-wire chassis system, which includes steer-by-wire, four-wheel steering, and electro-mechanical brakes. Together, they provide better ride comfort, improved stability, and higher safety precision.
