Onvo L80 Goes on Sale in China From ¥242,800 - 590 hp AWD & 605 km CLTC

Nio’s Onvo (LeDao) launched the L80 on May 15, 2026, in three variants that are Pro, Max+, and Ultra+, whose prices are ¥242,800 (₹28.7 lakh), ¥259,800 (₹30.7 lakh), and ¥279,800 (₹33 lakh), respectively. It is positioned between Onvo L60 and Onvo L90, whose main competitors in the Chinese market are XPeng G9 and Li Auto L8.

Dimensionally, it is 5,145 mm longer, 1,998 mm wider and 1,786 mm taller. Its wheelbase is 3,110 mm; compared to its two main rivals, it is a longer car. Available with six exterior colour options that are Ridge Brown, Morning Silver, Quiet Black, Peak White, Condensed Purple and Layered Green.

Featuring a split headlight setup on the front end, the DRLs (daylight running lights) are placed above and the main light below them. The front fascia comes with a closed-off grille giving modern electric vehicle styling, and a sculpted bumper installed at the lower portion adds SUV characteristics.

On the side, flush-type door handles, large alloy wheels, and clean surfaces are visible that reduce drag and improve aerodynamics. The back gets horizontal LED taillights reflecting the brand’s rear lighting signature, a clean tailgate design for an uncluttered view, and an integrated roof spoiler to enhance stability.

It comes with the seating capacity of 5 people in a layout of 2-3; the rear seats are bench-type, behind which there’s cargo of 1,200 litres. Notably, the rear supports folding; doing so increases the cargo capacity up to 2,600 litres. It also has a front trunk storage (frunk) whose capacity is 240 litres.

Its interior is available with four colour options that are osmanthus yellow, cloud beige, night black and moon brown. Notably, the cabin is equipped with a 17.2-inch 3K horizontal touchscreen at the centre of the dashboard, which is the main control hub for navigation, media, vehicle settings, climate controls, camera systems, apps and charging info.

Also get a digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel that shows speed, battery, driving modes, driving assistant information, navigation prompts and warning alerts; and a roof-mounted screen for the entertainment of rear-seating passengers. The HUD is also available, which projects speed, navigation arrows, lane guidance, safety alerts, and assisted driving graphics on the windscreen.

The screens are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P cockpit chip, and they run on the SkyOS intelligent operating system. All seats get ventilation, heating and massage functions, even though they are electrically adjustable with the memory function. Other notable features are a 30L rear refrigerator with a temperature from -18°C to 10°C, a wireless phone charging pad, three-zone climate control and quiet electric soft-close doors.

It is built on Nio’s NT3.0 platform, offered with both single-motor RWD and double-motor all-wheel drive configurations. Notably, the Pro and Max+ are available with a rear-wheel drive drivetrain, whose power output is 340 kW (456 hp) and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds; the Ultra+ is available with an all-wheel drive drivetrain, which generates the maximum power of 440 kW (590 hp) and sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds.

Both RWD and AWD drivetrains are available with a single battery pack that is 85 kWh, whose range on the China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle is 605 km and 570 km, respectively. Both are made up of 900-volt high-voltage electrical architecture supporting 600 kW that adds the CLTC range of 250 km with 5 minutes of charging.
