XPeng L03 Debuts in Europe With 520 km Range, AWD and 20-Minute Charging

On July 16, 2026, the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer XPeng launched the XPeng L03 at the XPeng’s Global Brand Event in Munich, Germany as a battery electric vehicle and extended range electric vehicle in Germany. It is available for sale in four variants, Standard Range RWD with €35,600, Long Range RWD with €38,600, AWD Performance with €41,600, and AWD Performance Ultra with €46,600.

They are all set to start delivering the model across Europe in the last quarter of 2026. The first two variants get a permanent magnet synchronous motor on the rear-axle, their maximum power output is 180 kW (241 hp), but the last two also feature an induction motor on the front axle, they generate the peak power of 285 kW (382 hp).  

The first one is equipped with 58.3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack giving the 445 km WLTP-certified range; but the last three is available with 71.2 kWh, among them, the RWD runs upto 520 km and AWD upto 420 km. 0 to 100 kmph sprinting time is 7.5 seconds for the first one, 6.6 seconds for second one, and 4.5 seconds for the last two. The top speed for all variants is 180 kmph.

Built on 400-volt electrical architecture, which supports DC 193 kW for the standard battery pack and 236 kW for the larger one. The carmaker claimed that with the maximum charging output, it takes only 20 minutes for 10 to 80 percent charging, and only 18 minutes for 20 to 80 percent.

This vehicle is 4,650 mm longer with a wheelbase of 2850 mm, 1,920 mm wider, and 1,600 mm taller. Available with seating capacity of 5 people in 2-3 layouts. Features a boot space of 539 litres behind the second row seat, by folding the rear seat the cargo capacity expands to 1,640 litres enabling carrying of big luggages conventional.

The first three variants are equipped with 18-inch wheels, but the last one with 20 inches. Its drag coefficient, meaning how efficiently it moves through the air, is 0.228. For clarity, its main rivals such as the Tesla Model Y have 0.220, 0.008 less, Hyundai Ioniq 5 have 0.282, 0.054 more, and Škoda Elroq have 0.260, 0.032 less. Notably, the less Cd a vehicle has, the more better efficiency it gives.

The cabin has a two-spoke steering wheel with XPeng logo, behind the same, there’s a 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster showing all driving data. It also features a 26.8-inch head-up display projecting the driving data on the windshield. The centre of dashboard gets a 15.6 inch touchscreen as the infotainment system that is integrated with the XOPERA premium sound system.

Notably, the first three variants have nine-speakers but the last one has eighteen. The Central mounted screen has AI voice assistant, Google Maps integration, and Over-the-air software updates. It also supports wireless connectivity via Android Auto and Apple Carplay. The centre console has two wireless phone charging pads for phone charging convenience of both front seaters.

Both front and rear seats are ventilated and heated, which keep the occupants warm in winter and cool on hot days. The last variant also comes with massage functions which removes fatigue. Other notable features inside the cabin are Ambient lighting to add premiumness and enhance mode of occupants for night driving. 

The XPeng L03 will also come to Europe as an extended range electric vehicle, it is set to make its debut with the starting price from €38,600. The EREV is all set to get a 1.5 litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol-powered internal combustion engine. Equipped with a 37.25 kWh LFP battery pack, whose pure-electric WLTP-range is 200 km, and combined is 1,000 km.
