Beijing Automotive Group’s sub-brand Arcfox started the pre-sale of the Arcfox Beta S3 (Arcfox S3) on April 24, 2026, and received more than 30,000 orders, and the Chinese automaker launched it on May 22, 2026, with the battery-swapping and charging variants. The swapping ones are available in three variants, and the chargings are in five variants. 

Its price ranges from 59,800 to 120,800 Chinese yuan, depending on the variant; refer to the table below for the Arcfox S3’s variant-wise price in CNY, USD, and INR.

Up front, it features a split headlight setup; the full-width LED DRLs are placed above, creating a wide stance, and the main LED headlamps are installed below that, giving better visibility for nighttime driving. Aerodynamic air intakes are visible lower down that keep the battery cool, and there’s a brand logo on the hood just above the daylight running lights for branding.

Arcfox Beta S3 Rearview

The coupe-like fastback roofline giving a floating roof effect; semi-hidden flush door handles reducing the drag; blackout windows surrounding and ORVMs enhancing the side look; and large alloy wheels improving the road presence are visible on the sides. On the back, it has full-width LED taillamps with modern lighting, a body-integrated ducktail spoiler, and ARCFOX letters on the tailgate reflecting identity.

It is 4916 mm longer, 1900 mm wider, and 1480 mm taller. The wheelbase is 2876 mm. In terms of size, the Xiaomi SU7 is 81 mm longer, but the Tesla Model 3 is 196 mm shorter. Features a seating capacity of 5 people in a layout of. Notably, the front seats have a removable headset, and they feature a flat fold that connects with the rear seat and come with a reclining of 118 degrees to create a 1.8-metre bed.

To enhance the comfort inside the cabin, it comes with the 256-colour ambient lighting, a 1.1 sqm panoramic glass roof, and wood-grain interior trim. The dashboard is equipped with an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster before the driver’s seat and a 15.6-inch floating infotainment display at the centre, which are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip.

Other notable interior features are two wireless phone charging pads and two cup holders in the front row for the convenience of rear-seating passengers and the driver. With the 192-line LiDAR and the Horizon Robotics Journey J6M chip, it features Yuanjing intelligent driving assistant features for city/urban and highway navigation, autopilot and auto parking.

Arcfox Beta S3 Interior

The battery-swapping variant is equipped with a 54 kWh LFP battery pack, whose CLTC range on a full charge is 535 km; and the charging variant is offered with three battery packs that are 44.2 kWh, 55.6 kWh, and 65.8 kWh, whose range is 460 km, 560 km, and 660 km, respectively, on the China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle condition.

Notably, all variants are available with a single motor on the front axle featuring a FWD drivetrain that is mated with the single-speed automatic gearbox. Reportedly, the battery-swapping ones have a peak power output of 150 kW, and the charging ones have 159 kW, but the peak torque is 250 Nm for all. The acceleration timing for 0-100 km/h is 7.1 seconds for all variants.
