Chery’s Jetour Launches 892-HP F700 Hybrid Pickup Starting Under $45,000

Jetour, the subsidiary of Chery Automobile, has launched the Jetour Zongheng F700 on August 6, 2026, in three variants, which are Extreme Player 5-Seat, Top Player 5-Seat, and Top Player 4-Seat. The limited-time offer for them is 299,900 yuan (US$44,440), 329,900 yuan (US$48,880), and 339,900 yuan (US$50,360), respectively.

Once the offer ends, the price will increase by 15,000 yuan (US$2,222) for each variant. They have announced the date for the delivery; we are expecting that the Chinese automaker will start doing so in September 2026. Its international market launch is also planned; very soon they will start exporting the model in different countries.

Out of China, the model is set to be known with the name of Jetour F700, dropping the word Zongheng. Reportedly, they are going to introduce it in South Africa with the name of Jetour P5 targeting the popular “bakkie” truck market. Its LHD, i.e., left-hand drive, will come to Central and South America and Eastern Europe.

The RHD, i.e., right-hand drive, is also expected to make its debut in Australia, where it will compete with the BYD Shark and GWM Cannon. As of now, there’s no update on its launch in India, but we can expect that they will launch it here too, because Chery Automobile has already collaborated with the JSW Group, whose debut in India is slated for Diwali 2026 with the Jetour T2.
