On July 20, 2026, Jetour, a Chinese automobile brand owned by Chery Automobile, started the pre-sale for the Jetour Zongheng F700, a full-size plug-in hybrid electric pickup truck, under the Zongheng lineup for the Chinese market. They have introduced the single-variant model, Player One (Touhao Wanjia) 5-seat, whose price is 364,900 yuan, which translates to ₹43.65 lakh.
Notably, they will introduce the other variant later. Reportedly, the launch of the Player One (Touhao Wanjia) 5-seat variant will take place in August 2026 with a little less price than the pre-sale amount. We are expecting that the launch price for this variant will be around 344,900 yuan (₹49.11 lakh). In China, its main rivals are Changan Hunter K50, GWM Cannon Hi4-T, and BYD Shark 6.
The manufacturers are all set to give the additional benefits to buyers who will exercise the option of presale. The benefits include a 5,999 yuan (₹0.85 lakh) roller shutter cover for free; a Kunlun Grey paint job at just 4,000 yuan (₹0.57 lakh), half of the original price; a complimentary home charging pile with basic installation; and a lifetime vehicle warranty for the first non-commercial owner.
Based on the Chery Kunpeng Super Hybrid CDM-O plug-in hybrid powertrain getting a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol-powered internal combustion engine with thermal efficiency of 45.5%, whose peak power output and torque are 155 kW (208 hp) and 340 Nm (251 lb-ft). Features two electric motors, one on each axle, which make it an all-wheel-drive, electrified pickup drivetrain.
Features 2-speed dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT) between the engine and front e-motor, and 34.1 kWh CATL Shenxing LFP (4C) battery pack under the floor. Its electrical architecture is 800-volt high-voltage, supporting fast DC charge, which takes 10 minutes for 10 to 80 percent charging. The carmaker claims that the combination, when the battery pack is fully charged and fuel tank is full, gives the CLTC range of 1,200 kilometers.

Built on a GAIA off-road platform with a high-strength integrated ladder-frame chassis, the front and rear suspension are double-wishbone independent and multi-link independent, respectively. They haven’t revealed the details of registering the brake, but reports suggest that it will get ventilated disc brakes on each and also be set to feature an Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) to enhance convenience.
The length, width, and height of the Jetour Zongheng F700 are 5,495 mm, 2,050 mm, and 1,985 mm, respectively. It has a wheelbase of 3,350 mm. Compared to the first, second, and third above-mentioned rivals, it has 170 mm, 120 mm, and 90 mm longer distances between the axles, respectively. The kerb weight is between 2,945 kg and 3,009 kg, and the payload capacity is 181 kg and 223 kg, depending on the variant.
Upfront it has rectangular-shaped LED headlights and integrated daylight running lights and illuminated LSER lettering, the same as they do with other off-roaders in the Zongheng lineup. Other notable features on its front fascia are a rugged off-road front bumper with a high approach angle and bumper-integrated fog lights.

The sides have squared-off wheel arch cladding, roof rails, mechanical door handles, double-motor outside rear-view mirrors with integrated side indicators, and side skirts; and the rear boasts vertically oriented LED taillamps on the edges, a bumper-integrated horizontal-shape reflector, a step on the bumper, a windshield-mounted braking light, and a large cargo bed.
Inside, it has a 35.4-inch panoramic “Sky Screen” display spanning the base of the windshield that has a digital instrument cluster showing all the driving data. The center of the dashboard gets a 15.6-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, which runs on Zongheng OS intelligent. It supports wireless connectivity, connected car technology with over-the-air software updates, and voice assistants.
