The Luxeed RX is an all-electric premium 5-seater SUV that is launched with a starting price of 259,800 yuan (~$38,700) with both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive drivetrains and smart and intelligent features and technology ensuring premium comfort and convenience for occupants.
Luxeed, the premium EV maker that is created by the joint venture between Chinese automotive giant Chery and technology behemoth Huawei under Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance ecosystem, officially launched the Luxeed RX, a premium mid-size sport utility vehicle, on September 28, 2026, announcing the price and revealing all the specifications and features.
The Luxeed RX is a five-seater SUV, which is available for sale in the Chinese market in a total of six variants. The brand hasn’t disclosed any date for delivery start; reports suggest that they are planning to start it around late 2026. The prices vary from one another depending on variants; they are shared inside the table also with equivalent USD.

The first four variants are available with a single-motor rear-wheel-drive drivetrain that has a power output of 277 kW (371 hp), and the last two come with double electric motors with the all-wheel-drive drivetrain that puts out 437 kW (586 hp). Notably, the RWD variant gets a permanent magnet synchronous motor on the rear axle, and AWD trim also has an induction motor on the front axle.
The company says that the single-motor version can reach a maximum speed of 210 kmph, and the double-motor version can reach 251 kmph. The two hundred kilometers per hour sprinting is officially disclosed, but only for the last two variants. They take only 3.2 seconds; the first four trims are likely to take around 7 seconds to do so.
A total of three battery packs are available; they are 81.1 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate and 100.25 kWh and 100.42 kWh Ternary Lithium. Depending on the configuration, it gives 672 km, 702 km, 753 km, 822 km, and 852 km CLTC range. The carmaker has confirmed that it can add 400 km on CLTC condition with just 10 minutes of charging.
Notably, the car is designed under the direction of former Ferrari designer Werner Gruber, ensuring the aerodynamic and low-drag profile with the flush door handles, framing-less doors, active grille shutters, and sleek matrix LED headlights. Its dimensions are shared inside the table below.

The cabin has a total of 5 screens, including a 16.1-inch swiveling central screen that actively rotates toward the driver or passenger, a 26-inch AR-HUD that projects navigation arrows, safety warnings, and speed limits at the windshield, a crisp digital instrument cluster behind the steering, and two rear entertainment screens that are placed on the back of the front headrest.
Launching the Luxeed RX, the premium EV maker Luxeed has started a rivalry in the D-segment; it is all set to compete in the Chinese market with the Voyah Passion S, Tesla Model Y, and Xiaomi YU7. It is expected to give tough competition to rivals, because five different driving ranges are offered, and they all come with ultra-fast charging.
