On August 15, 2026, Voyah, the subsidiary of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, launched the Passion S, a pure-electric sportback sport utility vehicle, three weeks after starting the pre-sale. A total of three variants are available for sale, which are 630 Max, 740 Ultra, and 700 Ultra+.
The price for the first one is 229,900 yuan (33,800 USD), the same for the second is 255,900 yuan (37,700 USD), and the third is 279,900 yuan (41,200 USD). For the limited time period, the model is available for sale with a discount of 6,000 yuan (890 USD).
As of now, they haven’t confirmed any for the delivery. We are anticipating that they will start doing so in September 2026. In the brand’s lineup, the newly introduced model is placed below the Free and above the Passion. Its main rival in the Chinese market is the Xiaomi YU7.
Dimensionally, the length, width, and height are 5,050 mm, 1,998 mm, and 1,656 mm, respectively. The wheelbase is 3,000 mm, and the drag coefficient is 0.24 Cd. As a five-seater, it has an 80-liter frunk (front storage trunk) and 584 liters of boot space that is expandable up to 1,744 liters.
A total of seven color options are available, including Leap-Day Red, Twilight Purple, Obsidian Black, Pearl White, Starry Grey, Aurora Blue, and Moonlight Silver. Outside, it has active air intakes below the number plate holder, floating star-ring LED headlights on the bumper, and 21-inch alloy wheels.
Other features that its exterior gets are 19 functional air vents across, 10 sets of through-type aerodynamic air ducts, flush-type door handles, roof-mounted LiDAR, front-door-mounted outside rear-view mirror, black wheel arches cladding, and full-width LED taillight.

Equipped with Huawei Qiankun ADS 5, which works with the 4 LiDARs, including an 896-line dual-optical-path main LiDAR and 3 solid-state/dToF units, 3 front and 2 rear millimeter-wave radars, 11 HD cameras, and 12 parking sensors, it features city and highway navigation assistance and Parking-to-Parking 3.0.
Inside, it has a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel in D-shape, which has physical buttons and the Voyah logo. Under the steering wheel, it gets a slim 8.8-inch 2K digital instrument display. Also features a 29-inch HD AR-HUD that projects the key driving data on the windshield before the driver’s eyes.

Dual 15.6-inch 2.5K floating screens are available on the dashboard, one at the center and the other before the co-passenger; they feature MoLA large-model AI voice interaction and run on HarmonySpace 5.2 cockpit. The cabin gets 27 speakers with a 2,160W system to ensure an immersive audio experience.
To enhance the cabin’s premiumness and convenience for occupants, it features a built-in 6.6-liter intelligent refrigerator with a temperature range of -6°C to 50°C. A large powered sunroof makes the cabin airy and spacious when open.
The carmaker has also added multiple colors of ambient light, which sync with music and enhance the driving mode. The co-passenger and driver seats are not only electronically adjustable; they also feature heating, ventilation, and massage functions.
The 630 Max and 740 Ultra get a PMSM on the rear axle, whose power output is 300 kW (402 hp). Equipped with the 81.6 kWh and 98.1 kWh lithium-ion battery packs, giving 630 km and 740 km, respectively, on CLTC conditions. The acceleration timing for 0 to 100 km/h for the former one is 6.7 seconds, but the same for the second is 6.9 seconds.
The 700 Ultra+ gets an induction motor on the front axle and a permanent magnet synchronous motor on the rear axle, which delivers 175 kW (235 hp) and 300 kW (402 hp), respectively, whose combined power output is 475 kW (637 hp). It is also equipped with 98.1 kWh but has a CLTC range of 700 km and can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.
