Other feature expectations are BYD’s “God’s Eye” intelligent driving system, as a roof-mounted LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) unit, is visible in the official image, along with adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, a 360-degree camera, a driver monitoring camera, up to 9 airbags which play a crucial role in saving lives in case of collision, rear-wheel steering, and DiSus-A air suspension.
Futuristic lighting, large alloy wheels, and clean rear view
Upfront, it features a split LED headlight setup; wave-shaped daylight running lights are placed below the hood, and the main headlamps are integrated with the bumper in vertical styling, giving a modern touch. The vertical air intakes are placed below that help in keeping the battery pack cool in the EV version and ICE too in the EREV version.
In profile, it gets flush-type handles reducing the side drag and improving efficiency; large alloy wheels giving bold road presence; double-motor electrically adjustable outside rear-view mirrors with integrated side indicators; blacked-out window trim; roof rails; and chrome garnishing on the body, creating an attractive side look.
At the rear, it boasts full-width LED taillights with the BYD lettering in the centre that create a wide stance; an integrated roof spoiler with a braking light reduces turbulence during high speeds, ensuring better airflow across the body; a minimalistic powered tailgate for easy boot access; and a clean bumper add premiumness.
Two powertrain options and maximum 900 km range

Set to be introduced as EV and EREV, notably, both feature 800-volt electrical architecture with next-generation BYD LFP battery packs. The electric vehicles come with both single-motor RWD and double-motor AWD drivetrains, which deliver the power of 320 kW with a top speed of 240 km/h and 585 kW with 250 km/h, respectively. The battery pack is still pending, but reports claim the CLTC range is up to 900 km.
On the other hand, the extended-range electric vehicle used BYD’s fifth-generation DM system. It gets a 1.5-litre turbocharged ICE under the hood that acts as a generator; it delivers the power of 115 kW. It comes as AWD with a double motor, each with the power output of 200 kW, and features a top speed of 200 km/h. Features a 45.36 kWh battery pack giving the pure-electric range of 400 km on CLTC, combinedly running up to 900 km.
