Earlier we reported that the Haval H10 launch will take place on August 5, 2026; now Haval, the subsidiary of Great Wall Motor, has done so. They have launched this vehicle in the Chinese market in two variants, which are Pro and Max. Each one is available with a seating capacity of 5 people and 6 people.
The Pro with 5 and 6 people seating capacity is available with the limited-time offer of 201,800 yuan (₹24.2 lakh) and 215,800 yuan (₹25.9 lakh), respectively; the same for the Max with 5 people seating capacity is 209,800 yuan (₹25.2 lakh) and 223,800 yuan (₹26.9 lakh), respectively.
Once the promotional offer ends, the price for each one will increase by 8,000 yuan (₹1 lakh). Notably, the limited-time offer is valid until August 31, 2026. The delivery date for the GWM’s Haval H10 is still pending, but we are expecting that to happen in September 2026, so usually it starts within four weeks after the market launch.
The length of the variant comes with a seating capacity of 5 people and 6 people and is 5,138 mm and 5,299 mm, respectively, but in other terms, they are similar. Their wheelbase, the distance between the axles, measures 3,000 mm, width 2,050 mm, and height 1,970 mm. They even come with the same ground clearance, which is 220 mm.
Notably, various media reports have reported about the launch with the Haval GWM H10 name, but the presale began with the GWM’s Haval H10. A report from CarNewsChina says that during the launch event the carmaker dropped the ‘Haval’ wording; throughout the event they referred to it as GWM H10, but the Haval badge can be seen on the front end, rims, and steering wheel.
The launch event confirmed the same specifications that were available in the public domain from its appearance in the China MIIT filing catalogue release. Both seating layouts get the same powertrain. They are available as plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, getting a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol internal combustion engine under the hood with an electric motor; they are bolted with a 4-speed DHT.
Even its rear axle has an electric motor, which moves the rear wheel separately, contributing to making this electrified off-road sport utility vehicle a four-wheel-drive car. The engine, front motor, and rear motor deliver the power of 165 hp (123 kW), 134 hp (100 kW), and 295 hp (220 kW). They combined generate 590 hp (440 kW) of power.
To sprint from 0 to 100 kmph, it takes 4.9 seconds, and it can reach the maximum speed of 190 kmph. To power the electric motors, it gets a 42.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. On the CLTC condition, its emission-free range is 232 km. Being a PHEV, it supports DC chargers up to 120 kW, which can add a CLTC range of 126 km with just 15 minutes of charging.
To ensure better comfort and convenience for occupants, including drivers, this vehicle is equipped with smart and high-tech features. On the dashboard, it has a 15.6-inch touchscreen and also a 17.5-inch ceiling-mounted entertainment screen for rear-seating passengers. These screens are integrated with a 21-speaker sound system to enhance the infotainment experience.
With the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster under the steering wheel, it also has a 29-inch head-up display, which projects the driving-related information on the windshield. In the second row, there is also a 7.7-liter built-in refrigerator, which helps in keeping the beverages and eatables. Comes with Coffee Pilot 3.0 ADAS with roof-mounted LiDAR, which features navigation and autopilot.
