Chery Automobile’s sub-brand Jetour has officially started the pre-sale for the Traveller Plus C-DM, a plug-in hybrid vehicle, on April 9, 2026, for the Chinese market. It is available in four variants, whose price ranges from 189,900 to 199,900 Chinese yuan; it translates to 25.4 lakh to 26.8 lakh in Indian rupees.
20-Inch Matte Wheels
Up front, the Traveller Plus C-DM features Vertical and horizontal grille design with illuminated branding, which creates a premium look. It comes with matrix LED headlights, which enhance the visibility for night driving up to 200 metres, and it also provides better night and off-road visibility.
On the sides, it gets a boxy silhouette which gives it the signature ‘hardcore sport utility vehicle (SUV)’ look, and its wheel arches are a little raised to add ruggedness. The roofline is straight but features a modern view. It gets 20-inch large matte wheels with a modern design that improves its efficiency and gives it a distinct look.
At the rear, there’s a boxy upright tailgate which maintains its rugged SUV identity. It also gets an externally mounted spare wheel that reflects the classic off-road styling. It also gets LED taillights, which have a modern light signature and also provide better visibility. The side-opening makes loading and unloading convenient.
A Queen Seat
For infotainment of occupants, the Traveller Plus C-DM gets a 15.6-inch 2.5K touchscreen that is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8255 chip and equipped with the AI system with the integration of iFLYTEK and DeepSeek. It features a smooth user interface with voice control for navigation, music, and climate.
Its front seat supports multiple direction adjustment and is available with both heating and ventilation functions. The driver’s seat is adjustable in eight-point massage feature, and the front passenger seat is ‘Queen’, which features one-touch reclining. The cabin is made up of diamond-stitched upholstery and soft-touch materials with rugged styling.
For convenience, the cabin features tray tables for rear-seating individuals that can be used for working and eating purposes, multiple USB and Type-C ports for charging the phone, and built-in mini-refrigerators whose cooling capacity is 0-10°C. It also gets a 64 sq inch panoramic sunroof and multi-colour ambient lighting as premium features.
To ensure better infotainment, it features a 16-speaker premium sound system with a subwoofer and also includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other features highlights are adaptive cruise control, built-in dashcam, keyless entry and remote start, and driving modes and terrain control.
65 Storage Compartment
The Traveller Plus C-DM is available with both five-people and seven-people seating capacity with layouts of 2-3 and 2-3-2. Across the cabin, there are a total number of 65 storage compartments. The boot space is 586 litres for the five-people seating layout vehicle; by folding the rear seat, the cargo space can be extended up to 1,653 litres, which can be converted to a 2-metre flatbed.
The dimensions in length are 5,034 mm, width is 2,006 mm and height is 1,880 mm. Overall these measurements give it a tough road presence and wide stance. The wheelbase is 2,800 mm, which is quite long, and it results in giving ample legroom for all occupants and features better stability during high speed. The ground clearance of 205 is ideal for off-road driving, i.e., driving on rough terrain.
1300 KM Range
The Traveller Plus C-DM comes with a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine and two motors, which are mounted with front and rear axles featuring the all-wheel drive drivetrain, and its transmission is a three-speed dedicated hybrid. The engine acts as a generator to power the motor, which drives the wheels.
The combined power output is 610 hp, and the maximum torque is 920 Nm. It is available in multiple battery packs, whose CLTC ranges are 129 km, 211 km, and 212 km, respectively; reports say that the combined range for the top trim is 1,300 km. The acceleration timing of 0-100 km/h is around 5 seconds, and the top speed is limited to 200 km/h.
