XPeng GX and G9L Middle East launch.
Xpeng, the Chinese EV manufacturer, will launch GX and G9L in Middle Eastern countries via the CBU route. The launch in early November 2026 is all set to add more numbers to overall and overseas monthly sales of Xpeng in the future.
Notably, these models are already on sale in China. The GX is on sale in the Chinese market from May 2026, and the G9L from September 2027. The first one is a six-seater in a 2-2-2 layout, and the latter is a five-seater in a 2-3 configuration; both are available with extended-range electric and battery electric powertrains.
For the Middle East market, things regarding the powertrain are still unofficial. It means it is still uncertain that only battery-electric, and even the extended-range electric option will be introduced. It will become clear after the launch.
Core specifications.
The length, width, and height are 5,265 mm, 1,999 mm, and 1,800 mm, respectively, with the wheelbase of 3,115 mm for the XPeng GX; the dimensions for the XPeng G9L are 5,120 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,782 mm to 1,795 mm in height with the wheelbase of 3,100 mm.
Integratingly, both models are available with all-wheel-drive and rear-wheel-drive drivetrains, and even though their top speed is identical, it is 200 kmph. The GX has dual-chamber air suspension with CDC dampers and rear-wheel steering, but the same for the G9L is double-wishbone at the front and multi-link independent at the rear.

In China, GX is available in a total of eight trims, four all-electric and four extended-range electric. The CLTC range for the EV version is 665 km to 750 km, depending on the battery pack, which is 91.9 kWh LFP or 110 kWh NCM; and the EREV variant has a 1585 km range combined and 430 km on EV mode under the same condition; it has a 63.3 kWh LFP battery pack.
On the other hand, the G9L is available in a total of six variants: four EVs and two EREVs. The electric vehicle trim is available with both RWD and AWD, but the extended-range electric only with AWD. The 91.9 kWh LFP and 110 kWh NCM battery packs are available for EV, which give 660 km and 755 km range, respectively, on CLTC conditions.
But the G90 EREV has a combined CLTC range of 1602 km, and the EV mode range on the same condition is 435 km with a 63.3 kWh LFP battery pack. This version gets a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine and two electric motors, one on each axle, whose combined power output is 370 kW.
As the launch in the Middle East market is going to happen as CBU, it is most likely that the specifications will be familiar to the model which is already sold in China and other international markets. The launch will disclose whether the specifications remain the same or if there will be any changes.
