It was earlier reported that Denza, the sub-brand of Built Your Dreams, will make its debut in the Indian market in 2026. Now, the Denza has officially confirmed that they are going to make their debut in the Indian market on November 13, 2026.
Reports suggest that they will make their entry in the country by launching two luxury-orientated models, which are the Denza Z9 GT, an electric shooting brake, and the Denza D9, an electric luxury MPV.
Apart from revealing their debut date, Denza hasn’t announced anything else. Recent reports suggest that all the models the sub-brand of BYD will sell in India will cost ex-showroom above ₹80 lakh. The price for both upcoming models is uncertain.
Two models may be introduced first.
Months ago, it was reported that the Denza, BYD subsidiary company, will make its debut in the Indian market by launching the D9, but later other reports suggest that along with the electric MPV, the brand will also launch an electric shooting brake, Z9 GT.
Notably, the official confirmation regarding these reports is still pending. It means it is still uncertain that Denza will start the operation with the Indian launch of these two models. We expect that soon the brand will announce these details.

The D9 and Z9 GT, both models, are already on sale in the Chinese market. Reports have confirmed that the debut of the brand will take place with the launch of the models via the CBU route. Things about the local assembly of models are still unconfirmed.
