Volkswagen Anhui has officially launched the Volkswagen ID. Unyx 09 is a full-size all-electric sedan in three different variants on October 24, 2026. These trims are Ultra, Flagship and Max. Noteably, the price varies depending on the variant; it starts from 179,900 yuan (US$26,800) and goes up to 249,900 yuan ($37,300).
For the now, this all-electric model on sale with the limited-time entry price of 169,900 yuan, which translates to US$25,290. Depending on the variant, this Volkswagen electric sedan is equipped with one or two electric motors and features rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive drivetrain.

It is worth noting that the limited-time promotion price is only available for the base model. Also note that this offer is available only for the first 500 buyers that choose the black colour.
Powertrain and performance.
Volkswagen Anhui itself has revealed that this all-electric sedan is equipped with 91.963 kWh lithium-ion battery pack beneath that has been supplied by the CATL. The two variants, Ultra and Flagship, get a permanent magnet synchronous motor with single-speed automatic transmission, which delivers the power of 230 kW.
The last one, Max, also features an induction motor on the front axle. The combined power output is 370 kW, including the 230 kW PMSM and the front 140 kW IM. Among the official revelations, it is found that the single-motor give the CLTC-range of 755 km, but the same for the double-motor variant is 705 km. The real-world range is yet to emerge, it is set to vary depending on different factors.
The brand says that the electrical architecture is 800-volt, supporting 5C charging. It can add a 250 km range with just 5 minutes of charging. Even with the top speed has been revealed, both trims can reach the speed of 200 kmph. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration timing is still pending; its sibling Volkswagen ID. Unyx 08, the electric SUV that has the same power output, takes 4.9 seconds.
Size and seating.
Volkswagen Anhui has officially revealed that the Volkswagen ID. Unyx 09 e-sedan measures 5,081 mm longer, 1,980 mm wider, and 1,509 mm to 1,526 mm taller. Official revealed details show that the wheelbase stands at 3,030 mm, and two wheel size options, 20-inch and 21-inch, are available.
The seats inside the cabin are five in 2-3 layout, and there’s a boot space of 481 litres. Its second-row seats come with a flat folding feature, which enhances the cargo space to 1,488 litres, which helps with better practicality in carrying luggage.
Features and technology.
The Volkswagen ID. Unyx 09 has a double D-shaped steering wheel with a Volkswagen logo and physical buttons. Behind the steering wheel, it has a thin digital instrument cluster. It also features an 85-inch augmented-reality head-up display that projects driving data on the windscreen, enhancing the driving experience.
An officially released image shows a large floating touchscreen infotainment system, whose size is 15.6 inches, as per the revealed information. Reportedly, the entire cockpit is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8295P chip. Other details that have been revealed officially say that it also has Xpeng’s Turing AI chip, with 750 TOPS of computing power.
It has an intelligent ADAS suite, which is based on the VLA (Vision-Language-Action) large model that uses 26 high-precision sensing components, NOA for both city driving and highway cruising, and parking-space-to-parking-space assisted driving. The last variant gets dual-chamber air suspension and DCC variable damping, as per reports.
