5 Entry-Level Electric Cars Coming With Affordable Pricing Launching In 2026

The adoption of EVs over ICE vehicles takes a good pace in India; over the last few years we have seen the launch of many electric cars in the market that are quite costly. Now, many automakers are shifting their focus to launching affordable EVs to cater to the buyer looking for the entry-level electric cars.

In the next few months, many entry-level EVs are set to be introduced with affordable, smart features and fast charging.

In the last few months, the Tiago EV 2nd facelift has been spotted testing on the road. The launch is anticipated around May 2026, and its ex-showroom price is expected to be between ₹9 lakh and ₹12 lakh. It won’t come with only cosmetic changes; there’s high speculation that Tata Motors may introduce a slightly larger battery pack.

Reports say that its second facelift will get a 30 kWh battery pack with an expected range of up to 390 km. One thing is confirmed: there are no changes in the motor setup; it will get a single PMS motor on the front axle featuring a front-wheel drive configuration. The transmission is all set to be single-speed automatic, the same as the outgoing model.
